Lyrics for Wonderwall as interpreted by kevin

Wonderwall Lyrics
Today is gonna be the day that they're gonna throw it back to you
By now you shoulda somehow realized what you gotta do
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now
Back beat, the word is on the street that the fire in your heart is
out
I'm sure you've heard it all before but you never really had a doubt
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now
And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you
But I don't know how
Because maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my wonderwall
Today was gonna be the day but they'll never throw it back to you
By now you shoulda somehow realized what you're not to do
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now
And all the roads that lead you there were winding
And all the lights that light the way are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you
But I don't know how
I said maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my wonderwall
I said maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my wonderwall
I said maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
You're gonna be the one that saves me
You're gonna be the one that saves me

i think this song is about the love for a girl butu being to afraid to say anything because she seems to perfect but at the same time he knows theres more that meets the eye and that she too has problems and he wants to say everything he is feeling because he knows that they are meant to be and that she can help him with his troubles and he can help her and it will be a long tough road ahead but it will be a happy ending and well worth it if she just gave him a chance. and i think that "wonderwall" means something like he always wondered about her and what they could be but there was a wall between him and her so they said wonderwall.

this is by far the best song by oasis ever...well i liek stay young and stop crying your haert out too but this one kicks ass!! i think that oasis is better than the beatles...i never really liked em that much-and even if that "paved the road for all the other bands" that doesnt make em better:)

In 1968, George Harrison released his first solo venture "Wonderwall Music". I think that because it was his first solo effort outside of the beatles group, the word 'wonderwall' (what the hell is one anyway ;) was chosen. I think that the song probably has something to do with becoming involved with someone that your circle of friends doesnt quite approve of, or doesnt fit in with them. Perhaps the subject of the song was once a part of the group and was kind of ditched. In anycase i think that by being the singers "wonderwall", the subject is their outside venture, their thing that is theirs, and theirs alone. This song (despite being extremely overplayed) is one of my favorites.

This song is awesome!!! I used it when I gave a speech on something, and people were crying due to the connection between my speech and the song. I love the way this song sounds, how it makes me feel, etc. Oasis kicks ass. Their album What's The Story? (Morning Glory) is filled with awesome, awesome sounds and songs. It's one of those rare CDs that you can listen to the whole thing and not have to skip past a few tracks. An amazing song, on an amazing CD, given to the world by an amazing band. Go Oasis.

this song makes me think about the most perfect person, that you just cant have because getting to them is too hard, and you just dont know what to say to them. but just maybe, they are going to be the one that "saves you"..... =) wonderwalls are your soulmates, the one who's going to make everything great.

i don't think the beatles suck, i think oasis was definately influenced by the beatles. and if you listen to any music these days, the beatles and other bands of their time built the foundation for every other kind of music these days - the good and even the bad. so if you are going to come on here and dis bands (ironHaloSucks) you are pretty lame, and should be spending your time elsewhere. what is the point in spending all your time posting negitive messages? go bother someone else.

This song is about unselfish love. here is this girl, which for whatever reason (disfunctional famileis, abusive boyfreind, undecisive feelings or all of the above), cannot be with this guy. the guy is obviously crazy about her. no doubt, her not being with him is causing pain. through the line "your gonna be the one that saves me" we learn that he too struggles from problems of his own. yet he is putting the girl in front of himself. he is saying "you have prblms too and i refuse to be selfish and demand your time." to ease her pain (and his too i'm sure) he says 'all the roads we have to walk are winding, and all the lights that lead us there are blinding" suggesting it is not her fault. with so many obstacles in life, no one can be expected to be perfect. yet in the midst of her imperfection (and his) he loves her. and he will continue to wait for her. in the hopes that she will save him from his breaking heart, his disfunctional family, his abusive friends and/or all of the above. only one problem, we all know Jesus is the only one capable of this love. therefore, to ask that much from a person is insane. however, the attempts are sweet and the message strong. UnSelfish love. Real love. good stuff. -amy
by the way: lets hear it for the man up stairs, plus five to Him.

I like the explanation about the perfect person and also that he does not know to express himself. I think the lines "And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding" it is saying how hard he is finding it to express himself. This song is really good and Oasis are the Beatles of the '90's.

Also, I'm just a little currious about why a song always has to be about a guy liking a girl?? It bothers me a bit...but I guess since a lot of the songs about relationships are written by males, it does make sense. Oh well...
