Though I can't understand why this person is the guys "wonderwall" I think I understand most of the song. It would seem that this guy really loves this girl (assuming that's his preference), and just doesn't know how to tell her. He speaks of all the confusion that might eventually bring thing together, such as the winding roads. The line "Maybe, your gonna be the one that saves me" I can very much relate to. When you're with the one you love it's an almost holy experience. It's like you've never been wronged and never wronged another. Essentially, love saves all lost souls. Lastly I find the line "I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now" to be a bit to possessive, and thusly slightly creepy.

after watching the videoclip of this song i realized that this song is not refering to "YOU are my wonderwall"
its refering to "I' AM my wonderwall"
because at the beginning of the video theres a part that liam is singing to a mirror: "Today is gonna be the day that they gonna trow it back to you" meaning that he is refering not to someone but to himself. watch the video

Wonderwall was a film released in 1968 and George Harrison wrote the soundtrack for it. The album was called Wonderwall music. Noel was writing a song about an imaginary friend who is going to save you from yourself.

It was originally called 'Wishing stone' but Noel wasnt happy with it so he took the name Wonderwall from the George Harrison soundtrack. So its about support and I suppose the 'wonder' links in with the imaginative friend.

I didn't read all of the messages but did anyone take into consideration the verses that talk about something "being thrown back to you"...idk what that means but he repeats it twice so it has to mean something...i'm thinking this is sorda a romeo juliet sorda thing where they really aren't supposed to be together and they are getting alot of crap for it...but they can still depend on each other...

oh and by the way...who ever said that oasis was better than the beatles...wtf are you on...and how can i contact your dealer...cause i would like to acheive your distorted way of thinking...
