  General Comment:I love this song to death, but does anyone else see an uncanny resemblance with this video/song to Lana Del Rey's Blue Jeans?? I think she mimic's him almost to a T, just in a pool instead of a beach.

  Memory:My friend was the girl in the Wicked Game video. She got a rash all over her body where ever Chris Isaak touched her, I asked her why she said the only thing she was alergic to were snakes!!! He was weird when they were offset he made her chew bay leaves and read verses from the DARK BIBLE said she was going to hell for showing a$$crack. 100 degrees on the beach he was the only one without a sunburn, not even a tan! She has a pace maker now and doesnt work out :(

  General Comment:I also think that he says "No, I wanna fall in love with you". The "don't" is never heard and thus there is a very different meaning. He might want to fall in love but he is incompatible to do so. He doesn't want to have sex or any casual relationship with no real feelings so he says "No" to the partner, "I want to fall in love with you" giving out his inner desire to develop feelings as he might be tired of this senseless sex desire.

  General Comment:I think I understand the meaning quite well, don't discount the title, it is wicked games, I went though with exactly,I knew girl and I didn't want to get too close with to her because I knew it would end badly she was not someone you trusted I kept thinkin, dont fall in love, be friends but don't fall in love, she ended up playing with my heart till I loved her, hence the wicked games and what desire will make foolish people do. She was telling me how much she loved me, and then getting her satisfaction, or deciding I cannot give her what she wants she throws me aside like she did to everyone else, except he took her a year to do it to me.

    sometimes you meet someone and you have a connection to them but feel like they're not interested. you try to manage it as a friendship because this person is special to you and at some point you try to help them understand the truth about an event they were too young to have experienced. you feel like you did the right thing even though they tried to stop you and a few weeks later you catch a glimpse of them in their most personal environment and realize that had you known this person on a more personal level, you would have let them continue to believe what they WANTED to believe.
    
    at this point guilt starts to settle in about what you had done. you begin to try to right a wrong, but only to have a lot of weird things start happening that you can see but not really feel comfortable explaining to them. you can't really talk about it because you're afraid of them misinterpreting what you have done so you continue to try and figure it out by yourself. unfortunately you can never really understand what is going on in someone's mind (unless you have a heart to heart but this person doesn't allow that) but everything they do appears to be probing your feelings and railroading you into falling for them so they can hurt you because nothing else will, you're the person who doesn't allow themselves to feel. you allow them to carry on with it because you feel as if you deserve every bit of what is coming and already had the feelings they seemed to want to facilitate anyway. at some point you just don't want to deal with the games anymore and just want them to give you what they really wanted, the ability to hurt you in the same way you did them. once they've accomplished this task, you feel relieved and the guilt is removed. you felt all along like they were waiting for the right moment to end it.
    
    this has been the wicked game i was in over the last few months. i rarely feel guilty for anything i do because i'm always fair and honest. this was only the 2nd such incident where i've felt guilt but the first where i loved the person more than myself, second only to my daughter.

    so like one time i knew this dude ya know and he like thought i was soooo dumb and all which is ok because he like never really knew me but he thought i had "sad" eyes? fur realz? so he thought i was maybe too young to understand but i really like sort of understood like right then which is why i felt bad about it. like not for any other reason other than knowing and having to leave and so this guy never really knew anything about my life...at all...or where i was at at the time or like how hard it was for me and all bc it was so quick but its ok. i think he might have been used to something like that and all like maybe stupid skank hoes always ask stupid questions to play dumb. haha... like at a strip club?...but he really didnt understand that it was so wierd for me because my questions like came from all the kinds of stuff i had been reading about for years. lol too funny! idk. whatever. but it was really wierd and so i started to feel something or something like that but oh well. anywho great song like my fav forever. I can identify with the person who never feels, i never did until then but oh well what do ya do...back to the books! lol. what do they say about book smarts and street smarts? ya have to have both..."measure these things by your brains and by your eyes..." so deep and meaningful and true. haha everything is all but a choice and ya always have to know and see to make the right one right? but idk kinda silly and dumb and all or something like that. thankfully never had a 2nd time or first for that matter but i guess it might just be the same. like your mind is sometimes worse than your actions or it leads to latancey which is the same thing i guess. good golly idk. and i just ramble but oh well. great song. luv isaak and all.

  General Comment:This is the real acid rock, seldom reproduced in these times. Way back in the '90s I was involved in a heart surgery, we were all listening to the radio, and it took me perhaps hearing about 1/4 of the song before it hit me that someone was able to do some real acid music again.
  
  The lyrics are very good, but of no consequence to what this song is. It could be about anything. It's about sound and mood. A blotter or a windowpane, a few joints, friends, a low lit room, a tape with everything from Motzart to Benny Goodman to The Dead, then this one hits you. It holds it's own well.
