These floods of you are unforgiving
Pushing passed me spilling through the banks
And I fall
Faster than light and faster than time
That's how memory works
At least in the dark where I'm searching for meaning
When I'm just searching for something
I want out
Out of every ackward day
Out of every tongue tied loss
I want out
Out of the burdening nightsweats
Out of the rising seas of blood
Lost in you like saturday nights
Searching the streets with bedroom eyes
Just dying to be saved
Run on girl, run on

General Comment:when i looked up the lyrics to this song i felt sad that u can't really hear them in the song. it's amazing poetry and the song itself is just... wow. first one i heard from them, can't listen to it to often though, because it tears me apart. pure emotion.

General Comment:If you think this song is about September 11th, then you are probably just straight up ignorant, because this song was on an album that was released in on Sept 4th, 2001

Anyway, this song is about trying to find love and affection from anyone who will give it to you, however misguided, and about how harmful to your soul it can be.

General Comment:This is Converge's best song ever made. They will never make a more heartfelt and powerful song, No one will ever be able to let out as much emotion as Jacob did in this song. And if you ever got to see this played live, you are a very very lucky person.

General Comment:WHy say it again? This is undisputably converge's best fucking song. I can't count how amny times I've engulfed myself in it, Skip tasks at hand just to hear it. 11 minutes you'll never forget or regret. Regarding somones earlier comment on how it envelops the idea of heartbreak? Sure, but it's open to interpretation, and I think this song is amazing for anyone who has never found love, such as myself. Thats where this song/album became something more to me. Jane Doe is that ghost, that pretty face you see but soon is gone, anything like that, so tremuously like a dream. This song somehow warped my life. And I am still to find the love it describes, Run on.
