I like the lyrics to this song.. I think they`re original and I like when words dont have totally obvious meanings.. and ofcourse the music is great, I love the whole piano rock thing..and I think Something Corporate is really talented the way they`re able to incorporate the piano so perfectly into everysong.. while still having everything else just blend so well together. I just met the guys at the warped tour and they`re all so nice, which is always really cool to find out, cause it sucks finding out bands you love are assholes. but anyways, I strongly suggest seeing them live if you havent. This is my favorite song on the new cd.. I dont think Something Corporate has any bad songs though =P

thing song is my fav SoCo song i saw them this summer at the Warped Tour and they were amazing i recomend that if you haveny seen them live than make it a point to. lets hear it for piano rock

when i first heard this song, i cried, but not until i heard the *piano solo* and then it added "you dont do it on purpose but you make me shake" its so amazing how someone can feel exactly the way you do and then put it into a song. i think its so beautiful when he says "So pull me under your weather patterns, your cold fronts and the rain don’t matter, because a sun burns what I needed..." because he's basically saying give me a chance because no matter what you go through, i'll always be up for it, and always be there for you. its a great song!

i agree with iWant2feelUbreatheMe. the bridge is my favorite, the piano and drum. i like how this song moves from peaceful and pretty piano to the strong chords, back to the piano- if i were in an analytical mood, and wanted to be a dork, i'd relate it to an actaul hurricane...in the calm begining, strong middle, peaceful "eye of the storm" on the bridge, back to strong storm, ending with clam, after the storm.

but i'd only say that if i felt like being a dork. as for the meaning of the song...it's getting into a relationship you;re scared of. i also have a feeling he's scared of this person, scared that he'll be pushed away.

I first heard SoCo at Warped tour this year and have been in love with them ever since! This song is absolutely awesome. Reading the lyrics alone gives me goose bumps, then pair the words up with the music and it's just phenomenal. I love the piano solo and the lyrics that come after are just amazing inthe way they sound and flow. The irony of sweet catastrophe is great. This song just plain rocks!

this song is obviously written by josh partington (amazing beyond life) anyways, it's about his exgirlfriend. my teacher's gf's best friend is the girl he wrote this song about. he even acknowledges her name in their album. josh partington is amazing "u dont do it on purpose but u make me shake" <3

Wow, this is definately my fave song on the CD. the chorus is awesome, and also the piano in the middle sets a very mellow mood, very good.
