This is just anothe kickass song from Rammstein that is a little bit kinky and few people actually talk about, since they have those like Hallelujah and that one about loving the dead...literally.

Cant stop playing the song .. the bass lines are great its just perfect .. Rammstein always has a unique sound to all their songs .. none of them resemble the same trend as other bands do ... Fauer Frei is heavy Mutter mild Bestrafe Mich right at the middle .. its amazing that they can assume both sides of metal like that

"bestrafe mich" is "punish me". it's about S&M. dominas and stuff. "youre greatness makes me small"/"youre allowed to punish me"/"the Lord (~Herrgott) takes, the Lord gives". lyrics are hard to analyze though.

Der Herrgott nimmt, der Herrgott giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiibt = the reason why Till Lindeman has become my hero.

To me this song is just about sado-masochism. However, given the fact that Rammstein loves to delibarately give multiple possibilities to interpret their songs, rooquie's theory might just be right as well.
