Sleepin' very soundly on a Saturday morning
I was dreamin' I was Al Capone
Rumor goin' round gotta clear outta town
Smellin' like a dry fish bone

Here come the law gonna break down the door
Gonna tear me away once more
Never never never want it any more
Gotta get away from the stone cold law

Crazy
Stone cold crazy yeah
Rainy afternoon got a killer typhoon
Playin' on my saxaphone

Anymore anymore cannot take it anymore
Gotta get away from the stone cold law
Crazy
Stone cold crazy (lets go)

Walkin' down the street
Shootin' people that I meet
Fully loaded Tommy gun
Here come the deputy tryin' fuckin' gettin' me

Gotta fuckin' get up and run
They got the sirens loose
I run right outta juice
They're gonna put me in a cell if I can't go to hell

Lemme go to hell
Crazy
Stone cold crazy yeah

General Comment:I think James is a bit mental cos he changes the lyrics to an actual gangster killing people instead of Mercury's fake gangster.

General Comment:AWESOME cover. The Queen version is a bit different because it was recorded n the 70's. You can't just say that you like this version better because it's a totally different genre. The Queen version is great. It fits the metal that was popular back then. It's perfect for the sound they were trying to achieve. Now Metallica just straight up rips this song in half! They fuckin' kill it dead. So much that there's no possibility in ever even trying to revive this song to re-cover it.

as far as the meaning goes, He's just an outlaw who's on the run. He stinks and he's constantly on the move 'cause the cops are a comin'. I totally dig the verse changes. Way more aggressive than the original. I think that the 'Stone Cold Floor' he speaks of is basically the life style that he leads. He sleeps on a Stone Cold Floor rather than having a warm bed to come home to. Very cool stuff

General Comment:no no no no no! damnit....this cover is so un-awesome, i'm aware that metallica is awesome and all but, queen will be queen...you don't mess with queen, all their songs are mostly impossible to cover
let alone a shitty thrash band.
ok, yeah, the lyrics are kinda gay...dreaming of being al capone...whateva, man. but you need the magic of the "queen" to get this song going...
to the meaning of this song, i agree with isimo

General Comment:has anyone heard the version of Stone Cold Crazy by Eleven ft. Josh Homme? that's an awesome version, it's a bit slower and the song is tuned down a few steps, wich make it sounds very dark.

This song fits Metallica very well, I like the live version of James with Queen were he bangs his head in front of drummer Roger Taylor

General Comment:This is interesting because both Queen and Metallica have been accused of changing their style, or selling out, but I happen to think that these are some of the greatest bands ever.
