    Lyric Correction:Actually Marke, the current lyrics are closer to the real lyrics. There are a couple of mistakes (I'm reading the lyrics in the Unforgettable Fire box set-type book.
    The correct lyrics are:
    Two rivers run too deep, the seasons change and so do I

    General Comment:I'm surprised there are only four posts for this song. I really like it. I love how the lyrics could mean just about anything and I really like the instrumentals. Just an overall good song.

    General Comment:This song always reminded me of a spirit looking for release.. The lyrics above are not correct as this song has one of my favoirte lines of any U2 song.. it is not "two rivers run", But: "True Rivers run to deeper seas..ons change and so do I"

    General Comment:i think this is about a person falling out of love bcoz the spark isnt there, so that person leaves the relationship, probably changes country so that the pain is left behind

    the imagery in the lyrics and, the bass deffinately paint a picture of a person's observations while on the run through fields , forests or w/e

    not my fave U2 song, on not my fave U2 album
    but i keep comin' back to it
    good running music i say
