Lyrics for Another Time, Another Place as interpreted by archmastermind

Another Time, Another Place Lyrics
Bright morning lights
Wipe the sleep from another day's eye
Turn away from the wall
And there's Nothing at all
Being naked and afraid
In the open space of my bed

I'll be with you now
I'll be with you now
I'll be with you now
We lie on a cloud
We lie

Just as I am
I awoke with a tear on my tongue
I awoke with a feeling of never before
In my sleep I discover the one
But she ran with the morning sun

I'll be with you now
I'll be with you now
I'll be with you now
We lie on a cloud
We lie
Another time, another place
We lie
Another child has lost the race
We lie
Another time, another place
We lie
Your time, your price

We lie
Another time, another place
We lie
Another child has lost

We lie
Another time, another place
We lie
Your time, your place

What is he saying from 3:36-3:50 or so, between the last two stanzas written here? It sounds like German.

ok after further research its actually gaelic, and supposedly during concerts he'd improvise with english, so basically no one knows what he's saying

This is a cool song, Boy is probably the best debut album ever. If you really listen to all the songs, not just check the back at Wal-Mart for hits like I did before I really got into U2, just buy it.

OK, so it actually is Gaelic, but then I guess there must be some people on the net who understands what he's saying. Everywhere I look it just says "gealic words" or "gaelic speech". Is he really talking that indistincly?

Well, he did fail Gaelic in school, right? Maybe it is just gibberish. :P

The part no one understands is in Gaelic, according to U2's official website.

That phrase "Another time, Another place" has become one of my staple phrases...it's just the perfect thing to say sometimes. Especially to children ;)

I think this song is beautiful.
