Let's take a blast to the moon baby
I sit around wishing you well
How I'm craving you, yeah!
Every time I'm near you
I always want to swallow you down
I'll be right here if ya need me
In my life, ill need you here, don't ask why
I'll never disappear
Why is it every day that I feel the pain?
Lets take a trip to the stars far away
Where were you when I was down?
Staring into the dead
My pain is caused by my pleasure
My soul mate lives in your body
I can't get you out of my head
It never goes away
In my life, ill need you here, don't ask why
I'll never disappear
In your eyes you can bid me farewell
But don't ever try to understand the situation
Why is it everyday that I feel the pain?

General Comment:Now for a trip down memory lane... My aunt got me this CD off a discount rack for christmas before they were big. Listened to the entire thing a couple times. Moon Baby was one of the few songs i played a lot until voodoo started getting airtime. One of my favorite CD's after I gave it a chance.

General Comment:This song means that he found it, what we all look for, a real feeling of passionate love on every level for someone and it can only be explained if she was indeed his soul mate. For whatever reason, they cannot be together but that does not mean that the thoughts or the love he feels for her ever stops. Sadly for them, it is an impossible love and he knows it. In a desperate attempt to be with her, he suggests taking a trip far away from the reality that keeps them apart but she won’t go. He desperately wants her to know that what he feels is real. He wants her to know that she is tattooed in his brain. He wants her to know that he wants her by his side when times are hard wondering why it can’t be in her arms, close to her heart, that he finds refuge in his dark times. He wants to offer her the same support, that she may find refuge in his arms, close to his heart at well. He has all these good wishes for her. He wants her to know that he desires not only her body but also her soul. When he’s in the same room with her no matter what time of day, she becomes his full moon baby driving him to lunacy with love. He tries to make her understand when she asks what is happening that there is no explanation for what is taking place in his heart or in his head. He wants her to know that he’ll be there if she calls and that he’ll wait for her forever if he has to even though the pain of being without her makes his body physically ache. His ache then turns to anger that makes him regret what he can’t help feeling, that burning, crazy, in-love feeling he had forbidden himself to feel again. Even though he tries to fight himself and this feeling of love at the end of the song, he knows he can’t fight the way he feels. When he sees her again, he knows his heart will melt because it’s all real and it makes him prisoner to a feeling of pleasure for loving her followed by pain because he knows she can’t be by his side.

General Comment:If you read "The paths we choose" By Sully which is a great read It will tell you that It's about his Ex girl Erin who was the greatest thing that happened to him but he cheated on her with this coke head named Lisa and how it made him feel like shit
"my pain is caused by my pleasure" That him being with Lisa caused him to lose her "why is it everyday that I feel the pain?" he's kicking his self in the ass
and "when I'm looking for love always seem to be regretting it" his last few girl friends where well for lack on a better word sluts

General Comment:First thing - I really like the heroine idea, hell it's original! But... Lets get through this again:

He met a girl and had great time with her, they might be together for a short period of time.
Perhaps they spent thier best night by the moonlight (that's why it drives him mad now).

After he understood he loved her she just dumped him and he couldn't handle it.
Now he can't be with her, nor let her go because he still loves her (like he never loved before?).

1st lines are about his lust ('craving you', 'swallow you down')
'wishing you well', 'i'll be right here if you need me' - he want her to know that he's still her, same with the chorus. Besides, he might still hope that she'll return to him.

'why is it everyday...' - he suffers cause she doesn't love him and he can't forget about her, memories never let him go.
Then he says again that he wants to take her far away so they are alone. He also wishes she was with him in the very worst moments.

'my pain is...' - perhaps he means that he doesn't blame her for anything, moreover, a part a him is still inside of her.
Then he repeats again that these thoughts of her never let him go, he can't get rid of them.
'in your eyes...' is simply like 'you may thing that it's over but it's not and it will never be for me.

He complains he can't find a perfect love cause each time he thinks he found it, 'she' stabs him in the back leaving him bleeding.

At 2:45 song speeds up, maybe because he changed his pain into furious anger, he might be mad at himself and at the whole wordl.
In the last words he puts all the blame on himself cause he 'keeps doing same mistakes over and over' althought he 'promised himself not to feel this way again'.

Finally he reconciles to his situation "I can't believe I thought this would be over" (thanks to Kilaelya for translating it)

That's what I think about this song... And sorry about my poor english ;P

General Comment:I think the song is about a guy who is in love with this girl that he was with, but things apparantly didnt work out, and now as he tries to move on, he realizes how much he loves the girl and how much he regrets not being able to be with her.

something along those lines, or thats what i get out of it, cause well, im in basically the same situation, except im a girl not a guy.
still an amazing song though. one of my all time favorites.

General Comment:Yeah, I've noticed that too BigBen and Coheed and Cambria's "Welcome Home" is like that too but this one is a bit harder to notice.

I wonder if Sully (lead singer) wrote this about someone in particular, I mean we all go through things like this and it's never the person we have feelings for problem you know?
