this song is too easy...its about a guy who is totally infatuated with a woman ...however she doesnt seem to care and they both realize this and the pain that he will feel when she leaves him is worth it because of the pleasue he gets from being with her.

this is a simple song, but written perfectly. i just had to break up with my girlfriend because she wanted to date an "additional" guy... and this song really really connected with me. i love it. i love it when a song talks about something that happens to people every day. Dave Matthews is awesome... thanks for the lyrics.

Has been explained fully by everyone here, don't disagree with anyone, but:

'But inside is where the devil hides ' is interesting. I think Dave knows that there is more to her, but is really close to being completely blinded by her beauty, the magnetism she has.

Has anyone heard anyother good songs on this CD besides Busted Street an Where Are You Going. I tryed to listen to it I just couldnt find anyother ones maybe its just me I don't know :P ok well I really do like this dong Dave Mathews is really talented.:)

Alright you guys, first of all, don't talk trash about Everday, that really was a good CD, songs like Angel and Mother Father definatley drown out the vide that I Did It did, though that wasn't a horrible song either. Anyway, Broken Heart was never the name for this song as far as I know. Everyone acts like "Busted Stuff" is a new CD, but it's been around for years and years. But anyway this song is a good one and i agree with Phisman and also Iro, they both make good points! woo-hoo DMB rocks!

this song was origionally called SHES MY BITCH, which i thought was kinda weird. dave changed the lyrics a little and gave it a new tittle when he put it on busted stuff (the cd)and the lillywhite sessions. i like it.

good opener for the busted stuff cd- really picks you up and gets you ready for whats to come. i love it. love that it's the title track- cute yet deep and it is perfection.

This song reminds me SO MUCH of U2's So Cruel.

U2 Song

Such similar imagery worded so pretty in both songs.
Smilar things in other stanzas - and both songs are talking about the same kinda woman.
