  General Comment:Pretentious celebrities, without a mind of their own, who will do, and say anything to be adored and admired, and fake it. Eaven if it means being a slut, or hore (to sell music, or whatever). Thus wasting their own talents, and self integrity.

  General Comment:This is a song written to suit just about everyone. Everyone knows a stupid girl or even a stupid guy. People who pretend people who will do anything for attention. Its for people who ignore the red flags and wonder why they got hurt. Its about youth and energy.

    That was a rather offensive, and broad generalization, saying all girls are stupid. Not everyone is like that.

  General Comment:This song sounds like it can be about anybody. It could be about you blaming yourself for being stupid and having no spine or it could be about that girl who's popular because she turned herself into a Barbie for the sake of being liked instead of being herself. Too much makeup, bleached hair, barely wears any clothes, dumbs herself down to appeal to others. Has she realized most of her friendships are shallow? Who knows if she'll admit those same "friends" will still be there for her when she's no longer a size 0 or has a terminal illness.

  General Comment:this song really could be about any girl. but i think it relates best to girls that spent their entire life trying to please everyone but themselves. i'll quote a hole song on this, when courtney love sings "i fake it so real i'm beyond fake" in 'doll parts'. they become so obsessed about being the centre of attention ("what drives you on can drive you mad") and being popular, that emotions blend into each other & just become a bunch of words to them (especially the emotions of others). "stupid girl" really speaks about destructive ambition. and in this case, useless pathetic ambition that serves no purpose.

  General Comment:sometimes i am being this. i am afraid of things that could hurt me so i ignore them like love, hate, pain, faith, people who i cannot please. i know its stupid coz i know that though i cant control them they're real.. but what the heck, sometimes i need lies to feel ok. its fake, its stupid, but i need itl. i see a lot other people doing this too.

  General Comment:'Stupid Girl' was born when we started jamming over The Clash sample. Steve started playing the loopy bass line, and Duke came up with the little jangly guitar riff. The song really only has two chords – the song is basically about the groove, a really simple arrangement, and Shirley's amazing singing. People still ask us who the 'Stupid Girl' is, and that's impossible to answer. The song is sort of meant to be a wake up call. It could be about an ex-girlfriend; it could be about a rock diva that we all know, it could be about your sister. It could also be called 'Stupid Boy'.
