Rage
Rage against the dying of the light

I am not coming back for a while
I see myself drowning in embracing daylight
Sinking deeper than ever before
I never carried my cross
I never suffered through it

Oh God what have I done to deserve this
I never asked for this
My path was paved for me long ago
Now I'm drowning

Oh god Im drowning
I can take it anymore
Oh god I'm drowning
I can breathe anymore

Stay with me for a while
Catch me up to speed
I don't wanna die alone
I don’t want to die here

Choking on my own believes again
I'm losing faith in him
Troubled waters and earth stops to spin
Am I alive or is this just a scheme

Oh god I'm drowning
I can't take it anymore

Oh god I'm drowning

Thanks to your selfish, rageous plans
Ive lost my faith in you
Drowning
I've lost my faith in you

    My Interpretation

We all have our crosses to bear and I think this song is about just that. Sometimes our troubles & our burdens can in fact be the end of us if we allow them to.
