No you can't reach me on my phone
No you can't see me, 'cause I'm better off alone
Don't have the strength to carry on
Don't have the guts to let you know what's going on
Baby, in my mind
I've begun to realise
Baby, in my mind
You're not the one I need
Baby, in my mind
But you're everything I see
I wanna love, it's not enough
You've got me crawlin' back forever, baby

It's not a question of what's wrong
It's not a question, girl I know I led you on
When I'm afraid to be alone
When indecision comes to call, I know we're done
Baby, in my mind
I've begun to realise
Baby, in my mind
You're not the one I need
Baby, in my mind
But you're everything I see
I wanna love, it's not enough
You've got me crawlin' back forever baby

Yeah, baby, in my mind
I've begun to realise
Baby, in my mind
You're not the one I need
Baby, in my mind
But you're everything I see
I wanna love, it's not enough
You've got me crawlin' back forever baby
Crawlin' back forever baby
Crawlin' back forever baby
I wanna' love, it's not enough
You've got me crawlin' back forever baby
(Crawlin' back forever)

Frontman Matt Thomson had this to say about ‘In My Mind’; "Lyrically, it’s probably one of our most personal & cathartic songs. It’s about knowing you’re not in the right relationship but stringing it along because you’re afraid of being alone. It’s the acknowledgment of not being the good guy in the relationship and accepting it.”
