Let me beat in your heart
Be your drum of war and love
Let me hide in your arms
Be my cage, my key, my lock
Let our bones collide
Until the light falls like anvils from our eyes
When our dreams ignite
Disappear in their fire
Be my deathless song
Fill my aching lungs
Breathe your life into me
Because I drown in your shadow
Like salt in the rain
If my fear is tomorrow
Your memory's the fight in my veins
Let me beat in your heart
Be your drum of war and love
Let me hide in your arms
Be my cage, my key, my lock
Let our bones collide
Until the light falls like anvils from our eyes
When our dreams ignite
Disappear in their fire
Be my open sky
Fill these wild eyes
Breathe your life into me
Because I drown in your shadow
Like salt in the rain
If my fear is tomorrow
Then your memory's the fight in my veins
Be your drum of war and love
Let me hide in your arms
Be my cage, my key, my lock
Let our bones collide
Until the light falls like anvils from our eyes
When our dreams ignite
Disappear in their fire
Be my deathless song
Fill my aching lungs
Breathe your life into me
Because I drown in your shadow
Like salt in the rain
If my fear is tomorrow
Your memory's the fight in my veins
Let me beat in your heart
Be your drum of war and love
Let me hide in your arms
Be my cage, my key, my lock
Let our bones collide
Until the light falls like anvils from our eyes
When our dreams ignite
Disappear in their fire
Be my open sky
Fill these wild eyes
Breathe your life into me
Because I drown in your shadow
Like salt in the rain
If my fear is tomorrow
Then your memory's the fight in my veins

To me this seems to about a loved one ... at least from my perspective I can take out of this message. As a loved one has helped me through bad periods in my life (which seems to be suggested by this song).
Another meaning could be (if keeping with the album's Ire concept) is that "anger" will ignite the fires and stir you (us) from our apathy. A lot of the album is about putting up a fit, standing up, fighting for our freedoms etc. So it could be that this is about letting the anger manifest itself into something positive (change!)
Also "anger" (fighting for our rights, freedoms) is something that will never die (so a deathless song?)
@sokorny it makes so much more sense now thankful!
