  My Opinion:Sure, the song mentions sex, but you would never even know that if you were just listening to the song. All those freaks out there have freaking dirty minds and change every little sentence to somehow relate with sex. So yes, maybe it does say it but you can choose if you want to hear it. We dont listen to the song to hear it say "tonight lets get some" we listen to it because we like One Direction's music and were not sex-crazed human beings like some people.

    The song is about sex. I am not dumb. That was One Directions intention. I am not sex-crazed any human being over the age of 18 and, maybe a little bit younger than than that knows that this song is about sex. Sex-craze or not. Why are you getting angry at me when I was stating facts. You cannot choose what you want to hear when it is a fact.

  General Comment:I'm not a 1D chick. My time was with the Jonas Brothers, the Backstreet Boys, and N'Sync (which by the way, at least their singles weren't blatantly sex related, they just made some sexy music vids xD).
  
  I paid little mind to Live While We're Young till my 13 year old sister told me it's about sex. Epic fail. Well actually, maybe wise... perhaps them making this song the first single off their album (and it was played repeatedly on the Target commercial for their cd) is their way of saying this cd is not intended for little girls. How else can they say our music is for an older audience. It would be inappropriate to say "parents please don't let your kids listen to me, I'm a bad influence." In that case, if the parents Listened to the singers, and filtered and Blocked the music played on MTV and the radio, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga (yes Gaga, all her music was sex related when she first came out) would be one hit wonders, if even thAt x3
  
  The boys Looked like cookie cutter goodie two shoes but as soon as it hits the tv tabloids that Harry dates older/older than my mom's age women, you parents should've been weary; God knows I was and I don't even care!
  
  And who says their original fanbase was directed at little kids. In You Don't Know Your Beautiful (most annoying song in the world that even my, then, 15 year old brother liked) was directed at a teenager not, little 5 year olds.
  
  I digress, if they were going to make their music for a mature audience, they should've done it at the beginning, but don't you guys know the music industry? You make music the parents find acceptable/music that makes you seem like nice boys to get your foot in the door, then after you've sold out concerts, on the next album, be yourself and spread your message, whatever that message may be. In their case, their need for one night stands. Whatever.
  
  Oh, and here's another thing, producers and an American song writer wrote those lyrics. :) so blame them!
  Live While We're Young was Written by Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk and Savan Kotecha. None of the boys wrote that. Produced by Yacoub and Falk.
  
  This is the image the record company & producers want them to have.
  
  Yet again, we see singers performing song and dance as the puppets of the industry.

    Savan Kotecha- unknown but he's old enough to be lead vocal coach on x-factor/an award winning songwriter (crazy how many famous songs he's written, you should wiki him) and he's kinda cute, but anyway xD
    (all three of them wrote What Makes You Beautiful as well)

  My Opinion:Hnestly think SOME of you all our a bit too much. Look ''these kids'' have their own minds the guys wrote the song about having fun and yes the ''get some'' part is about sex but they can't control who listens to them. They didn't know how big their music does that. PLUS they don't sing it for little kids, they sing for teenagers. The wild ones of kids. The ones that like having fun and being free and being young and ''getting some'' and it seems like some of you can't control your kids but don't blame it on 1D or anyone else. If anyone's to blame it's you. Music is music. Doesn't mean they bad people, they are teenage boys themselves. One of them is in his early 20s thou. But that ain't a big deal. So grow up! Please!!!!

    For you information their fanbase isnt little kids. "What Makes you Beautiful" was written for insecure teenagers and not 5 year olds. so no, they didnt purposely base their fanbase on younger kids.
