I'm another life
When the gods were crazy
And the measurement of time
Were the ending seasons
And maybe we believed
There was anger in the storm

Sometimes the Sky reminds me

And if you think that's wild
There's my dream of Egypt
And the color of the Nile
You're a Roman Soldier
It's small world after all
Buts older than you think

Sometimes your eyes remind me
Don't know why
I'll wait a life time till you find me
There are times

I've been this way before
I'll come this way again
So many things remind me
So many things inside

Sometimes your eyes remind me
Don't know why
I'll wait a life time till you find me
There are times

I've been this way before
I'll come this way again
So many things remind me
So many things inside

In another life
When the gods were crazy
And complaining all the time
And the people look at me
The volocano wants a bribe
And I'm still afraid of fire

I've been this way before
I'll come this way again
So many things remind me
So many things inside

I've been this way before
I'll come this way again
So many things remind me
So many things inside

    My Interpretation

This is about a woman who is willing to wait for a right man to notice her and approach her. Later, while they are together, sometimes when she looks into his eyes, she reflects she would wait for him her whole life, if necessary. Although, she cannot tell exactly what is it that attracts her to him. Apart from love, of course. It may be also about a woman who is in vulnerable position because ancient "gods" demand sacrifices, and she is perfect target because she is young and beautiful. Maybe she gets protected by her man, who is a Roman soldier. The author questions our comprehension of history, because we cannot tell exactly how old is our world, how time was measured, or if people ever seriously believed there was anger in the storm. But they probably loved each other the same way they do nowadays.
