Ok so my buddy told me what this song means so I can't take the credit.

I'll keep it brief. The dream on me is them saying that it will work out when it won't but they play along like it will. I'll give you the dream this time...

We both wanted to play in a band but we're too influenced by society. So for me it was like yeah we're getting each other through this shit and we have a dream we both perpetuate although it probably won't work out.

Black Hurricanes, hot ratz and jazz. Those were the days.
