Teardrops falling down
Falling down because of you and I
Everything has changed
Since the first time you looked in my eyes

It just isn't the same
But who am I to blame
I see you walk away
Oh hear me when I say

Don't go breaking my heart
Don't tear us apart
I need you so
Don't go breaking my heart
Don't tear us apart
Oh please don't go

You used to say
That you'd always love and cherish me
I was yours to keep
But something happened can't you see

Love turns into sand
Slipping through my hands
The wind takes it away
Oh hear me as I say

Don't go breaking my heart
Don't tear us apart
I need you so
Don't go breaking my heart
Don't tear us apart
Oh please don't go

Well it's my mind on my lover
And my lover on my mind
What a lovin' combination
My lover on my mind
And my mind on my lover
Oh what a good good combination

Me thinking about she, she thinking about me
Oh man what a loving combination
She thinking about me, me thinking about she
Oh man, what a good good combination

Such a tacky, hokey and silly pop song (even by how mainstream standards go). The video even starts with Elton ushering Kiki Dee around like she's an invalid. It's so cheesy that it's enough to make The Village People look like an uber butch collective of incorrigible Hell's Angels: it's UBER-CAMP
