I remember liking this song back in the day, when I was caught up in the world of evangelical Christianity. Embarrassed to admit that today!
"All living things despite their awesome diversity / Are related to each other."
This line was spoken by the teacher, in a very mocking kind of voice, like the teacher is completely clueless. In actuality, it's one of the only truths said in this song.
"I believe in evolution, Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies. It's the only possible solution, Big Bang fiction, that we factualize"
As usual, anti-science Christians don't see the irony in thinking that it's science that says "ask me no questions", when it's religion that does that. Try putting your hand up during a Sunday sermon to say to the preacher, "I have a problem with that".
Religious people continually say how nothing can possibly exist without being created ("Big Bang fiction"). Well then, that would also apply to God.
