  My Interpretation:I see this as a guy who really likes a girl but she doesn't share the feeling.
  Well maybe I'm a crook, for stealing your heart away
  Yeah maybe I'm a crook, for not caring for it
  Yeah maybe I'm a bad bad bad, bad person
  Well, baby I know.
  She "stole" his heart when he fell for her but because she doesn't love him back, she hasn't "cared" for it. She may be calling herself a "bad person" because it could be sarcasm or irony.

  My Interpretation:The songwriter has ended a relationship and tried to remain in contact, for whatever reasons, with the partner, who is holding onto their previous relationship as opposed to forming a new one, with the songwriter. My interpretation is centred on the lyric - "so i think its best we both forget before we dwell on it" - as an understatement.

    LOL..the guy in the song thinks he's a "bad person." He sounds so upset about it, too ;-)

  Song Meaning:I think its about how the girl flirted and the guy got attached, but she just can't love him. she doesn't want him the way he wants her. does that make her a bad person playing with his heart?

  General Comment:this song is totally my song in the moment. it is pretty self explanatory, it's about loving someone who you know you can't have. the relationship is not approved but the couple still want to use the chance they have to be together but the girl said "best we both forget before we dwell on it". sad =(
