The song is saying that this land is our home. It may have some flaws but its ours. The country has come a long way and there is still a long way to go but we're blessed with an amazing country. It's also a tribute to the founding fathers and those who fought and continue to fight for what we believe in. The USA will never stop fighting for and believing for our freedom and everything that the US stands for.
Dierks is great, I've seen tons of country artists live and Dierks is the one I am dying to see.
