Hey hey can you feel it
The way it, you
The thump in your chest
You make my feet move
You turn my head
That's why I love you the best

Hey you fill up the spaces
Those empty places
The corners and cracks
You kill my sickness
My only witness
You're all that I have

That's how we like
We like what we like
That's what we like
We love which is you
We got an eye
An eye for what's romance
We've got our eyes
Our eyes straight on you
You watch us dance
We dance till we're dying
We dance to free ourselves from the room
We love the sound
The sound is what found us
The sound is the blood between me and you

Back when I had no story
Living a folly ?
You got under my skin
You were my make up
My...
My reason to move

Can't stop the bleeding
No this leaving though I've tried
And when I return
With those fresh wounds you, inside

Hey you've got me crawling
You've got me spinning
Shake, shimmy, shake
First you ? me, then resurrect me
Too much

That's how we like
We like what we like
That's what we like
We love which is you
We got an eye
An eye for what's romance
We've got our eyes
Our eyes straight on you
You watch us dance
We dance till we're dying
We dance to free ourselves from the room
We love the sound
The sound is what found us
The sound is the blood between me and you

That's how we like what we like
That's what we like
We love which is you
We've got an ear
An ear for what's romance
We've got our ears
Our ears straight on you
You watch us sing
We sing till we're crying
We sing to free ourselves from the room
We love the sound
The sound is what found us
The sound is the blood (love?) between me and you

Hey, can you feel it? The way it sways you, The hum in your chest? You make my feet move, you turn my head loose That's why I love you the best

Hey, you fill up the spaces, those empty places The corners and cracks You kill my sickness, my only witness You're all that I have

Hands down we like, we like what we like Hands down we like, we love, we choose you We've got an eye, an eye for what's romance We've got our eyes, our eyes trained on you You watch us dance, we dance 'til we're dying We dance to free ourselves from the room We love the sound, the sound is what found us Sound is the blood between me and you

Back when I had no story, nothing to form me You got under my skin You were my maker, my re-creator My reason to live

Can't stop the bleeding or this leaving Though I've tried And when I return, with those fresh burns You're waiting inside

Hey, you've got me crawling You've got me spinning Shake, shimmy shake First you wreck me, then resurrect me, it's too much

Hands down we like, we like what we like Hands down we like, we love, we choose you We've got an ear, an ear for what's romance We've got our ears, our ears trained on you You watch us sing, we sing 'til we're crying We sing to free ourselves from the room We love the sound, the sound is what found us Sound is the love between me and you

second line sounds like "way I squeeze you" after that, I have no idea, it sounds like "turn my head move," haha.

In the choruses, it doesn't sound like "that's how we like" to me at all -- I hear "hands down, we like we like what we like" every time.

I think "living a folly" is actually "living for me"

also, "you were my make up / my -recreator-?"

I think "wreck me then resurrect me" is right, too.

This is a song about being in love with someone who likes the same music as you. "The Sound is what found us . . . Sound is the blood between me and you." Wow. But the chorus is plural, makes it seem to be a song about the band being in love with it's fans. And about the spirituality of being on the stage, or in the crowd, "freeing themselves from the room"

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
