This song basically means that that we just want to be our selves
Follow the morning star means fallow the same crowd as you are ( preps, jocks, emo,scenes, ect..) and have fun while you do it
Andy is trying to tell us that us ( emos, scenes ) should just believe in who we are and not let anyone tell us different!!
It is known that Andy is an atheist, so why is he singing about fallen angels? He doesn't even believe in God! Oh that might imply that fallen angels is the figure of speak he uses to imply something else but what? oh yes i read that Andy was persecuted for the way he dressed, "emo" but a bit girlish. Lots of people hated him at school just because he dressed different which caused lots of emotional and mental pain and wounds. So in the song he uses the fallen angels as a image to represent that part of his life and experience. We only want to be ourselves like all other normal people. You see how lyrics work servantofjesus???!!! And if you think about it, Jesus was persecuted for being different, if there's anyone the should understand this songs it's you.

Try to look and listen to this song without your christian beer goggles for just one minute and think. Maybe they're referring to those in society who are "cast out" for what they listen too or what they wear. Not only by "normal" people, but by your own fucking religion.

What's true: Firstly, they're not Satanic. I know that Andy is Athiest, which means he doesn't believe in God or Satan. And what you believe Fallen Angels is about is partially true. It is about when the Fallen Angels are cast down to earth. What Andy said about its meaning is that when the Fallen Angels were cast down, they mated with human women and created a new species. I don't know how to spell it, so I'm gonna take a guess. Menefulon. I know that's how you pronounce it. And basically, they were half fallen angel and half human. The inbetweens. And the other humans considered them to be freaks and weirdos. Basically the ultimate outcasts. And that's how BVB felt when they were younger; outcasts. The song is like an anthem to the outcasts.

What's true: The lyrics aren't "Follow the morning star", they're "Follow the mourning sun." so that changes what you think the meaning is.

What's true: They don't all have inverted cross tattoos. That I know of, only Andy and his best friend Matt Good have them. And they have a lot of other tattoos together. And even if they were Satanic, that really wouldn't change the opinion of the BVB army to them. I'd still listen to their music.

What's true: God Bless You isn't about God blessing them. If you payed any attention to the lyrics, you'd know that Andy was talking about a girl. "You left me with these broken lies, and I let you.
