This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines:
"Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet"
So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other:
"I had all and then most of you"
Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart

Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship.

Why did whomever submitted the lyrics feel the need to put an exclamation mark on almost every line? It kind of defeats the purpose.

our main hero yells out his second wish, to save the world from ziltoid.
convincing ziltoid that the earth has better coffee seemed like a faulty plan to our hero, so he goes to the source.
he is sent back onto earth, where he convinces the space program to lend him a ship that allows him to go into hyperdrive, once again.
Although he isn't alone, one of his great grandparents comes along for the ride, to ensure our main hero does not botch up the wish.
once our hero makes it to the planet where ziltoid lives, he rallys almost all the people of the planet who could possibly come. He attempts to fullfill his main plan: to convince the people of this planet to overthrow ziltoid and have sympathy on a Earth by proving its worth.
However, it turns out that the race of people are already angry at the earth, and demand that the Earth must be destroyed. Our main hero and his grandfather are persistent, though. The grandfather tries his own rally methods, through religion, desperately trying to convince the planet of what they believe. However, all their effort goes down hill, ziltoid knows why they are there, and the planet exposes the reason why the earth must die.
A giant equation appears on the screen behind our main hero. He is shocked, this is the equation that he created in his attempts to find the secrets of the universe. Our hero exclaims: These are only equations! this is only a problem! filled with doubt and demoralized, our hero realizes that his main nitch is not to save the world, for he was the world's doom.
he gives the signal that he is done with the wish, and is flung back into hell. where his family awaits him.
his wife exclaims: "OF COURSE HE FAILED!"
with the pressure on him, out of anger and desperation, he stands on a podium and exlcaims(after a long exposition of disgusting gestures at his family) that his main purpose in life, was to masturbate.
his family is disgusted at this, and disperse their separate ways into hell, only to disappear.
"And now... hunger does what sorrow could never do...
Feed."
Just going to point out this line is a reference to the Divine Comedy. The original implication is that what hunger does that sorrow cannot do is KILL, not feed.
