Are you worth your weight in gold?
'Cause you're behind my eyelids when I'm all alone
Hey, stranger, I want you to catch me like a cold
You and God both got the guns
When you shoot I think I'd duck

I led the revolution in my bedroom
And I set all the zippers free
We said no more wars, no more clothes, give me peace
Oh, kiss me

(Hey, hey)
We are a hurricane
Drop our anchors in a storm
(Hey)
They will never be the same
A fire in a flask to keep us warm
'Cause they know, I know
That they don't look like me
Oh they know, I know
That they don't sound like me

You'll dance to anything (x2)
Oh I confess, I confess
In a room where I'm blessed
But he didn't come and speak to me
Oh put my heart at ease
And I believe that half the time
I am a wolf among the sheep
Gnawing at the wool over my eyes

I led the revolution in my bedroom
And I set all the zippers free
We said no more wars, no more clothes, give me peace
Oh, kiss me

(Hey, hey)
We are a hurricane
Drop our anchors in a storm
(Hey)
They will never be the same
A fire in a flask to keep us warm
'Cause they know, I know
That they don't look like me
Oh they know, I know
That they don't sound like me

You'll dance to anything (x4)

Fix me, or conflict me
I'll take anything
Fix me, or just conflict me
'Cause I'll take anything

(Hey, hey)
We are a hurricane
Drop our anchors in a storm
(Hey)
They will never be the same
A fire in a flask to keep us warm
'Cause they know, I know
That they don't look like me
Oh they know, I know
That they don't sound like me

You'll dance to anything (x2)

Song Meaning:I think the song is about RyRo.

    ===================================================================

"Cause you're behind my eyelids when I'm all alone"
He's thinking about Ry because after he left he feels alone without him.

"I led the revolution in my bedroom"
The revolution as in that gay is okay.

"And I set all the zippers free"
Guys have zippers on their pants don't they?

"We said no more wars, no more clothes, give me peace
    Oh, kiss me"
No more wars against who thinks RyRo and Bdon are together and people who dont, no more clothes because they don't want clothes on, give me peace, they want the fans to stop fighting, oh kiss me, he wants Ry to kiss him

"Drop our anchors in a storm"
    Anchors, as in pants.

    "You'll dance to anything (x2)"
Since the band that Ryan made (The Young Veins) has a very different style of music, it is saying that he likes many different music styles.

"Oh I confess, I confess to the rumor of us"
    The rumour of Ryden.

"But he didn't come and speak to me"
THIS IS A HUGE OBVIOUS ONE. He actually did say he in the song, and what other guy can he be talking about? Yeah, Ryan. That's it, and yes, when Ryan left, him and Brendon didn't talk for a long while.

General Comment:the part "Fix me, or conflict me", doesnt sound so to me.
is he really singing "Fix me, or conflict me"?
    sounds like "complains". not "conflict".

General Comment:I think this is about the singer being in love with the girl that's having an affair with him from her boyfriend.

Are you worth your weight in gold?
'Cause you're behind my eyelids when I'm all alone
Hey, stranger, I want you to catch me like a cold
You and God both got the guns
When you shoot I think I'd duck

He's basically saying: are you worth all the hassle you cause? Are you worth all the sneaking around we have to do?
    She's all he thinks about
'hey stranger' is quite a sarcastic way of putting what they act like when around other people like they're strangers and he's saying he wants her to 'catch him' (fall for him) the way he picks a cold of all things is interesting and I think he's playing on the fact a cold is uncurable, he doesn't want her to get rid of him.

I led the revolution in my bedroom
And I set all the zippers free
We said no more wars, no more clothes, give me peace
    Oh, kiss me

This shows just how passionate a relationship they have and this is obviously the build up to the sex.

    (Hey, hey)
    We are a hurricane
Drop our anchors in a storm
    (Hey)
They will never be the same
A fire in a flask to keep us warm
    'Cause they know, I know
That they don't look like me
    Oh they know, I know
That they don't sound like me

I think the chorus is actually quite romantic. It's saying they they're a hurricane, they're so crazy about each other it's wild sometimes but they're dropping their 'anchors' because they're going to stay and sit out the 'storm' (the risk of being caught). The 'they' in they will never be the same I think is his emotions, he's saying when she's gone his emotions will never be the same for anyone else and 'fire and a flask to keep us warm' suggests all they have is each other against the world because of how many people would go mental if they found out about them. They 'they know I know that they don't look like me' bit is basically him saying, leave the other boys, you know I love you the most, they don't look at her in the same smitten way and they don't romance her with the same heartfelt words therefore not 'looking' or 'sounding' like him.

    You'll dance to anything (x2)

This bit is basically again doubting weather or not the girl is worth all this damage, he's saying how she'll dance to anything which basically means she'll sleep with anyone. She just goes with the flow and he isn't sure if she properly loves him like he does with her. He's also a bit paranoid that maybe he's not the only one she's cheating on her boyfriend with.

Oh I confess, I confess to the rumor of us
But he didn't come and speak to me
Oh put my heart at ease
And I believe that half the time
I am a wolf among the sheep
Gnawing at the wool over my eyes

This is him telling her how he's told everyone how he feels about her but is reassuring her the boyfriend hasn't spoke to him. He's then asking her to put his heart at ease, to tell him what's going on with them because he can't stand not being with her. 'And I believe that half the time I am a wolf among the sheep gnawing at the wool over my eyes' means that he feels he's only one of many boys she has on the go but he knows that he isn't as lenient as them because he's not a sheep he's a wolf, he's different from the other boys that put up with her crap but he feels the wool over his eyes as if he is becoming one of the boys that put up with her and the wools over his eyes because he doesn't and can't see what she's really like.

    Fix me, or conflict me
    I'll take anything
Fix me, or just conflict me
    'Cause I'll take anything

He wants her to fix him by telling him she loves him and that she wants to be with him but if she can't do that then he just wants her to argue with him, he wants her to do anything that means he gets to be around her, he loves her and will 'take anything' he's so desperately in love that even the thought of arguing is brilliant because at least their speaking.

General Comment:I think part of it is his anger at the fans who went with the members of Panic at the Disco who left, as well as them. "I Know, You Know, They Don't Look Like Me" and then there is "You'll Dance to Anything"

Part of it is also probably a romance with a girl who he used to argue with (Prelude to Memories?) and then he is also possibly also referring to the one other remaining member of his band (Not Romantically)

General Comment:i believe it's talking about a couple who is secretly together but one of them (not the narrator) wants to keep it a secret, unlike the narrator.

"Are you worth your weight in gold?"- traslation "are you worth the trouble not to mention my time"

"'Cause you're behind my eyelids when I'm all alone"-the narrator thinks about the lover alot, this also suggest he's not there bc it has to be kept a secret.

"you and God both got the guns, if you shoot i think i'd duck"- these two are different and people usually see them together, its "unnatural" even (against god i guess), and the narrator's lover knows it, hence why he wants to hide it

The "revolution" verses also suggest he couple is unusual but behind closed doors they are comfortable with each other.

the main verse (we are a hurricane, ect.) says that they're relationship would tend to cause controversy. it also suggests that the narrator is more open about how different he is than his lover.

"you'll dance to anything" i think is aimed at everyone else saying that they are simple minded and dont think about anything.

"oh i confess i confess to the rumor of us"- the narrator sick of hiding the relationship.

"But he didn't come and speak to me, Oh put my heart at ease"- his lover left him in the dark by sending him the mixed signals that differed when others were around and when they weren't. the "he" instead of "she" thing made me think this is about a gay couple but it could go either way

"And I believe that half the time, I am a wolf among the sheep, Gnawing at the wool over my eyes"-he is different, maybe even smarter than everyone around him and is sick of pretending he's not

second revolution and hurricane verses as well as the doubled amount of "you'll dance to anything"s suggest he is beginning to become braver as far as being himself around others

"Fix me, or conflict me, I'll take anything, Fix me, or just conflict me, 'Cause I'll take anything"-he doesn't care how people react to the confession of him and his lover

the final hurricane verse is saying that he is truly making waves (pun intended) by confessing him and his lovers relationship

final "youll dance to anything"s- saying once again that everyone else isn't as intelligent as he is for staying true to himself as opposed to just hiding his feelings for the sake of following the status quo

all in all, love this song, love the message I get from it, it speaks of forbidden love and staying true to yourself in a completely racy, unique, beautiful and totally non-cliche way... :)

General Comment:I have no idea why but whenever I listen to this & Brendon sings the "you'll dance to anything!" line I always, always start thinking of Lying Is The Most Fun.
