(Yeah, ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah)
Oh-oh-oh, oh yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah, yeah, yeah

7 a.m., waking up in the morning
Got to be fresh, got to go downstairs
Got to have my bowl, got to have cereal
Seeing everything, the time is going
Ticking on and on, everybody’s rushing
Got to get down to the bus stop
Got to catch my bus, I see my friends (my friends)

Kicking in the front seat
Sitting in the back seat
Got to make my mind up
Which seat can I take?

It’s Friday, Friday
Got to get down on Friday
Everybody’s looking forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Getting down on Friday
Everybody’s looking forward to the weekend

Partying, partying (yeah)
Partying, partying (yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Looking forward to the weekend

7:45, we’re driving on the highway
Cruising so fast, I want time to fly
Fun, fun, think about fun
You know what it is
I got this, you got this
My friend is by my right
I got this, you got this
Now you know it

Kicking in the front seat
Sitting in the back seat
Got to make my mind up
Which seat can I take?

It’s Friday, Friday
Got to get down on Friday
Everybody’s looking forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Getting down on Friday
Everybody’s looking forward to the weekend

Partying, partying (yeah)
Partying, partying (yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Looking forward to the weekend

Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday
Today is Friday, Friday (partying)
We-we-we so excited
We so excited
We going to have a ball today

Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes afterwards
I don’t want this weekend to end

R.B., Rebecca Black
So chilling in the front seat (in the front seat)
In the back seat (in the back seat)
I’m driving, cruising (yeah, yeah)
Fast lanes, switching lanes
With a car up on my side (woo, come on!)
Passing by is a school bus in front of me
Makes tick-tock, tick-tock, want to scream
Check my time, it's Friday, it's a weekend
We going to have fun, come on, come on, y'all

It’s Friday, Friday
Got to get down on Friday
Everybody’s looking forward to the weekend, weekend (we gonna get down)
Friday, Friday
Getting down on Friday
Everybody’s looking forward to the weekend

Partying, partying (yeah)
Partying, partying (yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Looking forward to the weekend

It’s Friday, Friday
Got to get down on Friday
Everybody’s looking forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Getting down on Friday
Everybody’s looking forward to the weekend

Partying, partying (yeah)
Partying, partying (yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Looking forward to the weekend

General Comment:This is by far the greatest song ever written. The genius (RB) gives the listener a rare insight into the momentous magnitude of teenage life with such thought-provoking lyrics like "fun, fun, fun". She taps into the popular concept of Friday being the last day of the week and completely changes what the listener ever thought about weekends with heart-wrenching lines like "I don't want this weekend to end" and unusually perceptive observations such as "yesterday was Thursday." The much older fellow whose rap was privileged enough to be featured in this masterpiece will undoubtedly get much-deserved street cred because his appearance in a song with someone much younger than he is is completely not-creepy.

My Opinion:i don't know what the people trying to look further into the song are smoking but what it is is what it is. the fact is she wanted to be britney freakin spears or kesha or some other undeserving popstar and her and her parents paid a professional song writer to write the song for her, then they paid for the recording which the producer autotuned her voice to make it seem like she could sing. this song is everything that is wrong with the music industry, i saw an interview where she says "oh i can actually sing so people who say i cant are wrong" if she could sing then why did she use autotune? she wants to be a popstar and doesn't realise that 99 percent of popstars use methods that ruin music for all the real people not just searching fame. in conclusion, if you can't write a good meaningful song yourself and sing it yourself without computer interfearence then you dont deserve to be an artist much less a well known one

General Comment:Such a fun, but stoopid, song. I often post this on my FB page and to date NO ONE has ever responded to it. I've even posted the parodies, to no avail.

General Comment:wow I can't believe how thorough lyricsforever is being with this. and alot of you. You seriously think there is actually a deep meaning to this song? I always thought she was just a girl trying to be famous so she wrote this shit of a song and then the industry put it out there just to get a few laughs so people notice them. idk thats my take on it. ha

General Comment:This song is about stupidity in general ... Rebecca describes how stupid she is in her real life , she shows how much stupidity there is in her little dark brain , she expresses her extraordinary stupidity through her " yeah yeah yeah , oh yeah yea _ ah " with a stupid dull smile on her stupid face ... " Friday " is a major evidence that shows that human stupidity has no limits at all ... I love how stupid this song is :)
