"you will always be.." he will always stand out to her. Plus, he helped produce the song. I think she likes him...also a lot of the songs on her CD are about love(:

  General Comment:This is such a beautiful song.
  Very short.
  Wish it was longer.
  but it's gorgeous no matter what.
  
  I guess you can draw out the meaning for this song in many ways.
  
  1.) The person is a stand out and will never change no matter what.
  
  2.) The person has a horrible heart and is so cold and mean.
  
  3.) The person will always have her heart because he was like no one else and her first love. Which goes back to the stand out part...Stars are usually bright..but Black Stars are stand outs obviously
