    General Comment:Some of you are wrong yes Wiz is from Pittsburgh and the Steelers wear Black and Yellow so do the Penguins and Pirates, yes it has some what to do with the song but not the whole song, it just talk's about how he is representing Pittsburgh with his black and yellow car. and he is talking about smoking weed and about a car that is Yellow and has black stripes.

    General Comment:I had to comment because this is one of my least favorite songs...if not my LEAST favorite. Black and yellow? I visualize a bumble bee every time, although I LOVE big round beautiful bumble bees and I detest this song. When this song plays, I don't wish to take the time to understand it. It's like Chinese water torture to me or the torturous drowning they did at G. Bay with Afghanistan/Iraq combattants. And what's a "hoe"? A yard tool? No man who sings black and yellow in repetitive motion should have the b*lls to call women hoes. It's just not right. Now whips and diamonds sound interesting; I'll take the whips and sell those diamonds...perhaps the off-key auto tuned pop king Kanye West can use them to make a set of dentures when his first set of material waste needs replacing. Did I say I hate this song???

    Song Meaning:Khalifa uses repetition to alternate between black, an archetypical color representing death and chaos, and yellow, a color associated with hope and prosperity.
    He juxtaposes his dark upbringing, perhaps alluding to his struggles as a young black man, with the color of gold, treasure, and what may be known as "bling." The recurrent automotive language is an important motif because of its representation of sexual frustration. The speaker's financial ups and downs culminate on his usage of a car as a sexual surrogate, which may symbolize some level of impotence or emasculation.
    If this is true, it becomes evident that the black-and-yellow contrast is a reflection of the cognitive dissonance of a financially and sexually unstable individual.
    When trying to express his frustration, Mr. Khalifa could come up with little more than "black and yellow." The frustrated outcry, "You know what it is!" invites the reader to reach deeper to figure out the speaker's plight.
