    Song Meaning:I think the singer is trying to tell a story about change in ones self and how in this case he is changing (emotionally) for the worse. He has basically let all the negatives around him affect his overall outlook on life and he did nothing to stop this. So now he has no joy and resents everyone in his life.

    I think the point of this song is maybe that YOU can ultimately control who you want/are going to be.
    Could be completely wrong though.
