Walk you home to see
Where you're living around.
And I know this place.
Pour yourself on me,
And you know I'm the one
That you won't forget.
In your den always,
I see something's right,
When I see your wink.
When he comes around,
I see you're fixing the shine,
And my face won't speak.
Hate to be so emotional,
I didn't mean to get physical,
But when he pulled in and revved it up,
I said you call that a pickup truck,
And in the moonlight I throwed him down.
A kicking, screaming, a rolling around.
A little piece of a bloody tooth,
Just so you know I was thinking of you,
Just so you know I was oh
Trembling knees are weak,
And its cold as a hole,
Hug your bones and skin.
Crackling wood's gone white,
And my eyes swolled up now,
I can see the light.
Hate to be so emotional,
I didn't mean to get physical,
But when he pulled in and revved it up,
I said you call that a pickup truck,
And in the moonlight I throwed him down.
A kicking, screaming, a rolling around.
A little piece of a bloody tooth,
Just so you know I was thinking of you,
Just so you know I oh
Just so you know I oh
Just so you know I oh
I hate to be so emotional,

Just so you know I oh

It's basically about two individuals male and a female- The male has a crush on this girl but she obviously would see him just as a friend.
'Walked you home to see where you're livin' around, and I know this place'
Him walking her home and realizing the area is familiar to him.
'In your denim eyes, I see something's awry, and I see you're weak'
This meaning he all of a sudden realizes something is wrong as it could easily be her hearing the sound of this other guys car coming around.
'When he comes around I see you're fixin' to shine, and my face won't speak...'
This meaning they both see this other guy coming around pulling up to the girls house, while the girl is fixin' to shine as in perhaps getting nervous and looking nice for him' His face won't speak cause he has been left speechless.
'Hate to be so emotional, I didn't aim to get physical but when he pulled in and revved it up, I said 'You call that a pickup truck?'
This is the situation getting to him because he obviously really likes the girl, and had no idea there was another guy in the picture.
'...And in the moonlight I throwed him down, kickin' and screamin' and rollin' around, a little piece of a bloody tooth...Just so you know I was thinkin' of you....Just so you know, ohh'
Self explanatory he is brawling with this guy fighting for the girl with his mixed feelings. 'Just so you know, I was thinking of you.'
It never says that he's much better than the other guy and he probably doesn't make any moves towards the girl. He's just trying to get the other guy out off the way somehow and it's probably he's beating the other one up purely in his mind.
Yes, there could be other interpretations of the meaning, but the straightforward thing is this one
You guys gotta stop looking past the face meaning of songs. In fact, you really shouldn't even look past the title. Judge books by their covers.
Where you're living around,
And I know this place.
Pour yourself on me,
And you know I'm the one
That you won't forget.
He's walking a girl home (maybe one he just met) to see where she lives and she tells him everything because she knows she can trust him.
And in your denim eyes,
I see something's awry,
And I see you're weak.
When he comes around,
I see you're fixin' to shine,
And my face won't speak.
He can tell somethings wrong with her and when her boyfriend is around she acts diffrent (maybe scared) and it slowly dawns on him that her boyfriend hits her and it leaves him speachless.
Hate to be so emotional,
I didn't aim to get physical,
But when he pulled in and revved it up,
I said, 'You call that a pickup truck?'
And in the moonlight I throwed him down,
A kicking, screaming, and rolling around.
A little piece of a bloody tooth,
Just so you know I was thinking of you,
Just so you know I was oh...
He and the boyfriend had a cofrentation where he kicked the crap out of him. He wants the girl to know that it was all for her.
Trembling misery,
And as cold as a hole,
Hug your bones and skin.
Crackling wood's gone white,
And my eyes swelled up now,
I can see the light.
Its after the fight and he is really hurt. Probably close to death.
