What gives you the right to think that you can come and save me?
Picture perfect world, I picture violence in disguise
I'll save my breath for something real as you look towards the sky
Pray forgiveness this Ends tonight

I've been awake for 40 days and 40 nights and I just can't stop dreaming
I've been awake for 40 days and 40 nights and I just can't stop dreaming
Restless I found your weakness
Restless I found your weakness

I can tell that you have been under his control
Making subtle movements being oppressed inside your home
Wearing this mask to hide yourself from the world
Falling short, pray forgiveness

I am a demon so deliver me from this
From this, I'm in
I am a demon so deliver me from this
From this, I'm in
From this moment on, I see a world shattered and cold
I see the problems, I see the broken homes

And it's all starting to get old
All this good news is bad news just waiting to unfold
And it's all starting to get old
All this good news is so old

I'm not listening
We're not listening
I'm not listening
We're not listening

We all will die alone
I've been awake for 40 days and 40 nights and I just can't stop dreaming
I've been awake for 40 days and 40 nights and I'm so
Restless I found your weakness
Restless I found your weakness

I am a demon so deliver me from this
I am a demon so deliver me
From this very moment
From this very moment

I am a demon so deliver me from this
I see the problems
I see the broken homes
Restless, I found your weakness

Their vocalist has such a good sound! Too bad he's letting the actions of "Christians" lead to how he defines himself; the actions of humans.

Basically, He's saying that Christians dont really have anything, they just put up a front. Altough they think they have something greater, they are just being brainwashed, and the truth is that this world has no God. They are looking to a non-existent deity to solve their problems, but in the end they are just finding ways around their problems and creating more problems in the end. They are just bringing more BS into this world that we dont need, and they should just get real and quit supressing others that havent been overcome by a false sense of faith and security.

To me this song is routed towards Christianity the religion, not Christian faith. I couldnt agree with him more in that sense. It just sucks for me as faithful Christian, to see someone let the views of these extremists people that claim to be doing God's work make him see Christianity as something that it really isnt. If this guy really knew the bible, and knew what it said, he would know that these extremists are misled and dont have their crap straight. They ARE living a lie, they ARE living a front; they just listen to some guy in a pulpit without learning for themselves what the bible really teaches. They ARE brainwashed. But not all of "God's people" are brainwashed like that, there are multitudes of us that do have a head on our shoulders and a voice in our hearts that tells us the truth, not what these extremists create to cope with their own issues.

I know, it's very opionated. I figure that since I'll be the first to comment I might as well let it all out.

    Y'all take it easy, Chance
