    My Interpretation:I personally think this song is about finding a cure to the infection during a zombie apocalypse.

    My Interpretation:This may not be the way the band intended the lyrics to be interpreted, but this is just something I thought about. Overall, the mood of the song is dark and pessimistic, but some parts of it seem to contradict it.

    "The cure is a shotgun, the cure is whatever blunt instrument one can salvage.
    Whomever finds themselves too proper will be the first to perish.
    And you know nothing that matters now."

    I feel like this could be interpreted in two different ways. On one hand, the verse is a call to arms for those still going through the zombie invasion. The first line is self-explanatory; how to appropriately equip yourself to survive. The second line warns us that anyone who is too squeamish to fight or wield a weapon will die at the hands of the zombies, again fairly obvious. The third line implies that now that everything we knew is gone, the only thing left to do is survive.

    However, I find it more fitting that this verse is encouraging those that have survived so far to end their lives quickly instead of suffering. The first line is again, self-explanatory. The second line in this context is saying that anyone who cannot bring themselves to go about a quick, painless death will suffer horribly at the zombie's hands. Darkest of all is the third line, which now says that because everything we once loved is gone, there is no longer a purpose is continuing.

    I feel like the latter interpretation is more consistent with the mood of the song, and the suicidal context fits well with the line "My will is at God's hands, never within man's teeth". This line reinforces the first verse by implying that by ending their lives and leaving the earth, they will be safe with God.

    Again, this is just something I came up with while looking at the lyrics, make of it what you will.

    My Interpretation:My opinion of this song is that TDWP was making a point that we will bring about our own demise in the End Times. When they say "Science has become a child's game" I believe that they are making a point that were ruining what's natural in this world with the modern age "sciences." Our new ways of thinking have destroyed morals and we've fallen far. I think they are saying that the ony reason the End Times are coming are because of our own ignorance and our actions. If everyone were to change today, we would not have to reach the point that's inevitable.

    General Comment:it's so simplistic yet deep how TDWP made this new album. one can either mistake it for a gruesome zombie apocalypse timeline, or you can look further and find it's real meaning. truthfully, from my understanding, TDWP made this as a metaphor for the world through the eyes of a Christian. as you can see from these lyrics "Today's destruction can only be measured in... in biblical... biblical proportion", TDWP is basically stating the book of Revolations. The End-Times. "My will is at God's hand, never within man's teeth" - the influence that man's tongue has on the world is devestating. people look to the world for answers of their salvation and such when they should be seeking God. I mean I could be wrong, but it seems right. regardless, this new heavy, fast side of TDWP is AMAZING.
