Through sadness you have taught us to be one with the crowd
Unveil the sacred order, hymns of falling down
You told the greatest stories, of love and bleeding crowns
But to the sick and hungry, you cannot be found

We are young and we are strong
Through strength in self we become
Something more than they can be
I raise my heart 'n say

That I wont believe this lie
I know there's something more inside
When darkness is all you see
This is our sweet blasphemy

Silence the crooked holy, unchain the tied and bound
No time for allegory, one true reigning sound
Unite the lonely mourning, a simple servant now
We are the only glory, hear us screaming loud

We are young and we are strong
I raise my heart 'n say

That I wont believe this lie
I know there's something more inside
When darkness is all you see
This is our sweet blasphemy

We are young and we are strong
Through strength in self we become
Something more than they can be
This is our sweet blasphemy

That I wont believe this lie
I know there's something more inside
When darkness is all you see
This is our sweet blasphemy

General Comment:Really great song! I'm not part of the BVB army cause I have my own, but we love you guys!!!

People are tired of lies and foamy talkers like politicians and religious leaders, who talk talk talk but nobody benefits but themselves. Real changes will come from real people who suffer in the wake of others bad decisions.

all their lies, the pain and hurt they caused us has made us look at not the reflection in the mirror but our true self, and in that truth we have found true strength, true power, the power they they feared we'd have, and with that power and strength we create a better place where all are safe. "through strength in self we become more than they can be"

General Comment:This song is a beautiful song!!!
It does have a strong religious touch though
This song is basically about how we should just love who we are without anyone telling us what to do
Say I went into a church looking like Andy the church would throw me out almost!!
And the Christians would say CHANGE before you enter this home
Well if god loves me for who I am why is he judging me like this huh!!

My Interpretation:I don't believe this song has any anti-Christian sentiment, although that may be because I am a Christian.
It targets the self-righteous 'Christians' who judge people by their appearance and interests, in contradiction to their religious teachings, questioning whether people deserve damnation for something as simple as a different taste in music, movies, attire etc.

The term "Sweet Blasphemy" refers to loving somethings that is said to be 'evil' by the self-righteous(blasphemy), the people who enjoy the 'evil' things find solace and enjoyment (sweet) in it.

Again this i from the perspective of a Christian Metal-head so take from it what you will...

My Interpretation:It targets more of the "holier than thou" ideal held by bullies, and incidentally many religious people. It's about finding things out for yourself, and surpassing other people's expectations of you because of how you look or who you are which can be considered blasphemy to some people, especially by those that abuse their religious power to silence any different ideas.
Not targeting religion specifically, but the attitude behind it.

It's quite obvious that they're satanic. Their song "Fallen Angels", it refers to Satan and his angels being cast down to hell. A place that was meant for the Devil and his angels can't be nice, everything down there is suffering, suffering and suffering in all eternity, you can't think how harsh it is down there. Read some hell testimonies, and some heaven testimonies: divinerevelations.info/

Jesus makes it clear "If you're not for me, you're against me". They sing "Follow the morning star" morning star refers to Lucifer "Son of dawn" Satan/Devil.

I've heard they have inverted cross tattoos. Inverted cross is an anti-christ symbol. Ofcourse they deny that they are Satanic, so that people will keep listening to their songs.

Just because they have songs like "God bless you", doesn't change anything. You can't be on both sides.

They want to make heaven seem boring and so. Satan wants to do everything to keep people from Jesus, he's the deceiver from the very beginning, when he decieved Eve. But I'm telling you, from all testimonies of people who've been in hell, they say that their senses were so vivid it took an extreme effort to just breathe or to move, and things like that.

Satan holds all non-belivers blinded from the truth!

I was once a porn, masturbation, PC gaming addict once (I'm 15 years). But now in happy in Jesus and baptised in the Holy spirit. I feel like a whole new person.

I find those to be the best lyric I've ever read and heard with my own ears. I was raised a christian but I couldn't help but see past the lies I've been taught to see the reality of the World Around Me... ha ha World Around Me...Escape the Fate.
