They told me this is a free country
But now it feels like a chicken factory
I feel cooped up I wanna bust free
Got nothing to lose if you get me

Like a Taliban trucker, eating boiled up yucca
I keep my eyez down like I'm in a black burka
Been through shit yeah it's a fucker
Now I make tunes say shaka laka laka
Shaka laka la, shaka laka lee, shaka lakalakalaka lucky lucky me
If you check me, I check you
If they kick you, then I back you
Say somin' new, say somin' cool
I give you my time, but I ain't no fool
Acca Acca I, breaker, breaker jaw every every time, someone steps on my toe
I fight the ones that fight me

I really love a lot
I really love a lot
I really love a lot
I really love a lot,
But I fight the ones that fight me
But I fight the ones that fight me
I fight the ones who fight me
But I fight , but I fight, but I fight
But I fight the ones that fight me

Who's in town
Like Hu Jintao
Them no like me, me no like dem
Instead of them I got a new found friend
Someone I can love up like me
Like Obama needs to love up chen

Like a hand me down sucker trowing bombs out to Mecca
Call it goodwill, get money to get better
Keep ya head down like a Unicef worker
If you get hit you can't question the fucker
How come how come I, yeah but yeah but why?
If I be the f, who the f, b the I
If you met me then you'll get me but if you get me, will you get a fee
Shit mennnu be free where's Bob Marley
And I won't turn my cheek like I'm Ghandi

I fight the ones that fight me
I fight the ones that fight me

I really love a lot
I really love a lot
I really love a lot
I really love a lot,
But I fight the ones that fight me
But I fight the ones that fight me
I fight the ones who fight me
But I fight, but I fight, but I fight
But I fight the ones that fight me

General Comment:...also I think the line "If I be the F, who the F be the I?" is a play on "F.B.I." as well.

Lyric Correction:They told me this is a free country
But now it feels like a chicken factory
I feel cooped up, I wanna bust free
Got nothin' to lose if you get me (if you get me...)

Like a Taliban trucker eatin' boiled up yuca
Keep my eyes down like I'm in a black burqa
Been through shit, yeah, it's a fucka
But now I make tunes, say shuck-a-lucka-lucka

    Shuck-a-lucka-la
    Shuck-a-lucka-lee
    Shuck-a-lucka-lucka-lucka
    Lucky, lucky me

If you check me, I check you
If they kick you, then I'll back you
Say somethin' new, say somethin' cool
Give you my time, but I ain't no fool

    Eck-a-eck-a I
    Break-a-break-a jaw
    Every, every time
    Someone steps on my toe

I fight the ones that fight me

I really lovalot, I really lovalot
I really lovalot, I really lovalot

But I fight the ones that fight me
But I fight the ones that fight me
I fight the ones that fight me

But I fight, but I fight
But I fight, but I fight
But I fight the ones that fight me

    Who's in town?
Them nuh like me, me nuh like them
    Like Hu Jintao
Instead of them I got a newfound gem
Someone I can love up like men
Like Obama needs to love up Chen

Like a hand-me-down, sucka throwin' bombs at Mecca
Call it good-will, get money to get better
Keep your head down like a UNICEF worker
If you get hit you can't question the fucka

How come? How come I? Yeah but, yeah but why?
If I be the F, who the F be the I?
If you met me then you get me
But if you get me, well, you get a fee
Shit's meant to be free, where's Bob Marley?
'Cause I won't turn my cheek like I'm Gandhi

I fight the ones that fight me
I fight the ones that fight me
I really lovalot, I really lovalot
I really lovalot, I really lovalot

But I fight the ones that fight me
But I fight the ones that fight me
I fight the ones that fight me

But I fight, but I fight
But I fight, but I fight
But I fight the ones that fight me

My Opinion:I think it's odd people are saying the whole "a lot" = "Allah" thing. You guys remember she's a brit, right? This is the way she would normally pronounced a lot. The t is very soft, barely there. I'm not saying there isn't that connection, as if it was intentional, it sure is clever, but 1.) she is not muslim and 2.) again, it's the normal way for a Brit to pronounce a lot.

My Opinion:This is what rap should be... Looking at this it's amazing how lyrically intricate it is, while still being musical, and having an extreme amount of meaning, all while being clever. Not only that, but this beat is bangin and makes you want to dance. I love this woman.

    Song Meaning:It's funny people talk about "terrorists" as in "arabs" who attack the US. When in reality it's US invading the Middle East. That's what she is talking about in this. I really love alot/allah but I fight the ones that fight me" AKA they defend themselves against invaders[US}

    She also starts:

"They told me this is a free country,
But now it feels like a chicken factory."

To me that is referring to how US citizens are brainwashed/slaves. the govt uses them for profits/workers. Keep them all focused on the latest gossip and celebs to ignore the important issues.

When she refers to obama and chen, Hu Jintao - it's because they are all buddies. Tyrants killing the innocent for profit and power. There was an article recently of Obama and Hu Jintao meeting, obama making excuses for Hu Jintaos human rights abuses.

General Comment:i hope not to be the only person with this question, but who/what is chen?

is she refering the former president of china or his wife or something unrelated?
i can't quite imagine why that would be the case, and if it is i would love it if someone would explain.
dzhen seemed fitting but i s'pose the cd booklet knows best.
    thanks yall

    i love this website
i hadn't made the "i really love allah" connection, and i think it's perrty damn cool, and bold of her.

Lyric Correction:Small, small correction: it's spelled "yuca". Yucca is an ornamental plant (think Joshua Tree), whereas Yuca is a food crop (think cassava root).
