Something in the air
Is telling me to go there
So I'll follow my nose
Go wherever it goes

It's calling from around the corner
Waiting just outside of town
Trailing vapors sweet and tangy
Daring me to track it down

It's blanketing the high-rise towers
Blasting through the sands of time
It's useless to resist its power
It's now or never

So fresh
I'll search until I find it
So fresh
I'm closing in behind it
So fresh
Nothing could be better
So fresh
Like I died and went to heaven

So fresh it almost makes me want to cry
So fresh it's givin' me a second life

I see a fork in the road
Where it goes I don't know
I won't even think twice
I really don't have a choice

It's calling from around the corner
Waiting just outside of town
Trailing vapors sweet and tangy
Daring me to track it down

It's blanketing the high-rise towers
Blasting through the sands of time
It's useless to resist its power
It's now or never

So fresh
I'll search until I find it
So fresh
I'm closing in behind it
So fresh
Nothing could be better
So fresh
Like I died and went to heaven

So fresh
So fresh
So fresh
So fresh

So fresh it almost makes me want to cry
So fresh it's givin' me a second life

So fresh it almost makes me want to cry
So fresh it's givin' me a second life

So fresh!

It's not your fault that you don't understand this. You cannot interpret it without at least basic knowledge of the Kabbalah.

The Towers are the Tower, the trump of the Tarot. The Sands of Time is the High Priestess. Heaven is Kether, the top of the Tree of Life. It's givin' me a second life is to transcend from the material to the spiritual.

So in total, it's a description of the Babe of the Abyss. In other words, the path from Tiphareth to Kether.

i dont think the song is about chemtrails, i think its about the revival of their music, but the corporations can easily use the video to hijack the song to brainwash ppl about chemtrails with it

    Song Meaning

Devo is the de-evolution band, and the entire album was made with the help of focus groups. This provides a context for the lens in which we look at this song. It describes overpowering stimuli that cannot be found in nature, a phenomena found (and exploited) in modern society, which subsequently gnaws away at free will ("I see a fork in the road..."). There's a word for this, and it's well-studied: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernormal_stimulus

More on this concept, and how it relates to marketing and 'devolution' can be found here: lesswrong.com/lw/h3/superstimuli_and_the_collapse_of_western/

This song is brilliant. It's clearly about chemtrails and how their implementation relates to mind control. To learn more go here: youtube.com/watch if you dont believe me just watch the music video for this song here: youtube.com/watch

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
