It's Christmas
And we walk alone
Two strangers with no one to miss us
On our own
Out in the cold

Trudging onward
Braving the harsh winter storm
You and I met passing by
And now our spirits feel warm

I don't have anyone
At home to talk to
And you don't have anything to do
So I'll spend my Christmas with you
I'll spend my Christmas with you

It's Christmas
And we are in love
With the way that the soft snowflakes kiss us
From far above the blustery breeze

Trudging onward
Braving the harsh winter storm
You and I met passing by
And now our spirits feel warm

I believe that Jesus is truly the only way
I celebrate Christmas because it's his birthday

I don't have anyone at home to talk to
And you don't have anything to do
So I'll spend my Christmas with you
I'll spend my Christmas with you
I'll spend my Christmas with you
I'll spend my Christmas with you

General Comment:i think this song is about how the real reason we have christmas is to celebrate jesus's birthday. the person, i think, was supposed to be jesus and he realized that thats who he should spend christmas with after he didn't have anything else to do.

Song Meaning:I believe this song is supposed to tell a figurative story about him encountering Jesus and spending Christmas with him. It starts of saying that they are strangers which, to me, suggests that he wasn't feeling close to Jesus for a time. But now, that he's physically alone, he recognizes Jesus again and decides to spend the day with Him.

But, I can see how it could just be referring to meeting someone and telling the story of him and that regular person, and then slipping in the reason for the season all sneaky-like as he tends to do. :)

All that being said, this is the best Christmas song I have ever heard!!

My Interpretation:I think that this is about the fact that if you don't have to spend Christmas with your family. Just go out there and find some one to spend it with. It's not just condemned to just family.

General Comment:You know, if we want to get terrorists to talk without having to water board them, make them watch Jersey Shore. Granted, water boarding would be less cruel. (I'd rather be shot.) It is now worse, as MTV has decided that simple punishment is not enough, and now seems bent on summoning the Apocalypse, by picking up the option to create personalmoneystore.com/moneyblog/2010/01/25/jersey-shore-season-reality/ ">Jersey Shore Season 2– and I'd get payday loans to pay off MTV if it kept them from putting it on the air. This is brutal. I'm so glad I have a DVD player, so I don't have to watch TV.
