(Go
Go
Go
Kitty
Kitty
Kitty)

Go sing, too loud
Make your voice break
Sing it out
Go scream, do shout
Make an earthquake

You wish fire would die and turn colder
You wish, your young, could see you grow older
We should always know that dreams can do everything

Go drum, too proud
Make your hands ache
Play it out
Go march through a crowd
Make your day break

You wish silence released noise in tremors
You wish, I know it, surrender to summers
We should always know that dreams can do everything

Go do, you'll know how to
Just let yourself, fall into landslide

Go do, you'll know how to
Just let yourself, give into low tide

Go do!

Tie strings to clouds
Make your own lake
Let it flow
Throw seeds to sprout
Make your own break
Let them grow

Let them grow (Endless summers)
Let them grow (Endless summers)

(Go do endless summers)

You will survive, will never stop wonders
You and sunrise will never fall under

You will survive, will never stop wonders
You and sunrise will never fall under
We should always know that dreams can do everything

Go do!

i've been listening to this song a LOT recently. I love it, and the lyrics are amazing. I really enjoy the imagery that the lyrics have. SO GOOD OK, no one here has talked about the lines where he sings, "Summers". it's sung repeatedly in the background at one point. This is most likely because his boyfriend's last name is Summers. Just thought i'd throw that out there

This is such a wonderful song. I'm a kinda melancholy person (my fav band is Radiohead, ffs) but I can't help but love this music dearly. It just makes joy bubble up inside me, and that's something I don't feel as often as I'd like. It's so beautiful and uplifting. The whole album just makes me want to cry (in the good way). It's got to be the most lovely thing out this year.

This song encompasses that feeling that life is unpredictable and sometimes confusing, but that there's hope in the endless possibilities we have before us... completely uplifting.

    My Opinion

While I don't find it as appealing as 'Boy Lilikoi', this song is very good! The lyrics are truly sky-high, and the music has the ability to lift one's spirits, no matter how bad of a day it's been.

    Song Meaning

I am not religious, but this song seems to define this word and it's meaning:

Spoudazo - To exact oneself, make every effort, give diligence, make haste, be zealous, strain every nerve, and further the cause assiduously. Spoudazo combines thinking and acting, planning and producing. It sees a need and promptly does something about it. the word covers inception, action and follow-through.

Live your life for every moment you own, however never become a slave to your own ambition, accept what happens in life as your own process, but realize that you have the power, in your own will, to do anything.

If all falls apart, start again. Start from ground zero, but believe that you have the will to do anything and everything.

Listen carefully right after he sings "Make you voice break - Sing it out." the little voice samples in the background sound like "Go Go Go! Kitty Kitty Kitty!"

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
