Don't forget about the money you owe me baby,
Know you're good for it,
but that was long before you left me,
I really hope he drops you in a week,
sounds about the right amount of time it takes,
until he's bored with your community physique,
I think I'm gonna be sick,
I won't ever find my parallel,
I can't afford to keep my balance on your carousel,
Don't forget about the money you owe me baby,
the high-road doesn't satisfy,
like any of your many future drunk dials,
when you're cold and alone and I faintly hear you cry,
I think you're making me sick,
I won't ever find my parallel,
I can't afford to keep my balance on this carousel,
must just be easy to impair,
now I'm more than well aware,
I won't ever find my parallel,
(I think you're making me sick)
I won't ever find my parallel,
I can't afford to keep my balance on this carousel,
I won't ever find my parallel,
I can't afford to keep my balance on your carousel,
must just be easy to impair,
now I'm more than well aware,
I won't ever find my parallel
(I think I'm gonna be sick)

Also, "I can't afford to keep my balance on this carousel." (first chorus says' YOUR carousel)
Listening via the amazon mp3 version, if that matters at all.
I agree with alexmariee's interpretation as well.
& I have to say this is my favorite new Spill song thus far. It just really
reminds me of their older stuff. I'm hoping they keep it acoustic for the
record.
except what do u think he means when he says "must just be easy to impair"?
know* you're good for me
it's a pretty straightforward song, he was into her, she leaves him like every other one that cant seem to appreciate him, there's no real deep meaning to the money except for she owes him money and he wants it back. he's just saying he wont ever find his soulmate and its making him sick hes tired of trying to find balance in places and how he just wants to fit with someone.
regardless, beauty at its best.
2010 is a spill year indeed !
