I'm up in the woods
I'm down on my mind
I'm building a still
To slow down the time

General Comment:I think the "building a still" is in reference to the still feeling of the woods, and the forest. He is creating a still moment, in nature, to slow down the fast pace world that exist outside of that still.

General Comment:Well, a still is used to make homemade alcohol, so it basically means:

    I'm in the woods.
    I'm sad.
    I'm making booze.
    To get drunk.

But the way Justin writes it, it's a bit more elegant.

General Comment:its definitely got something to do with him moving into a lodge with his dad and how he was surrounded by woods?

General Comment:"Unfortunately, the lyrics probably don't mean anything. :P"

...how the hell would you know? I'm sure you're a nice person but you come off as a dick saying that.

General Comment:This is Bon Iver's "Woods" with different music behind it. It's a cool new sound but I think I may like the original better.

General Comment:Agreed. Probably my favorite off of their album, at least for now. Unfortunately, the lyrics probably don't mean anything. :P
