  General Comment:This song is really slow and gets on my nerves. I can't say I love it and I DO love pretty much all Rihanna song. This one just seems like a half realized idea. Slow songs are fine, but it just doesn't build anywhere either. It's kind of pacifying, like a lullaby with its 6/8 timing but the lyrics are pretty clearly state something different.
  
  Poorly written song and poorly produced aswell by people who usually produce and compose at a much stronger level.

  General Comment:I think it's about a guy who is cheating on a girl, but she doesn't want to give up on the love. She want's to make it work, she tries to convince herself that he's the one, but he keeps on cheating. So basically she's saying that she isn't going to stay with him because he's a cheater, liar, etc. like some women would.

    actually youre wrong. RIhanna wrote the song so actually its not for brandy. brandy and rihanna arent even on the same label. so check your facts first thnks.

    actually you're both wrong. neyo wrote the song. he sent it to brandy to record as a demo and she did it.... and in the song she doesnt say katy she says shelly or some shit. then it was sent to rihanna who ultimately decided to record it for her album and did in fact change the name to katy in reference to one of her best friends katy perry.... so the real question is.. how do you say check your facts and be WROOOONNNNGGGGG

  General Comment:Not negatively critisizing (although i like this song), i think this song is a "sequel" to her song unfaithful because it have same writters and composers ie. Staegate and Ne-Yo. Even the musical arrangements are 80% similar. This group has contributed so much for rihanna since her 2nd album 'a girl like me'.

  General Comment:This is a great song, lyrics by Ne-Yo & Stargate.
  It clearly fits Rihanna's perspective well, but one should keep in mind that this song was not even originally written for her, hence the lyrics weren't written with her in mind, but could surely be related to by her.
  This song was offered first to Brandy (You can hear Brandy's version of it on youtube), and after was passed on to Rihanna.
  Great track, the minor key and signature stargate arrangements are reminiscent of Unfaithful and Cry.
