    General Comment:In one of their concerts, before Tegan started singing, she said like why she wrote it.
    this is what she said :

    Tegan : “ This next song uhm I wrote about like that thing that you do when you think that maybe someone likes somebody else and you like them and so you really wish they didn’t like someone else at the same time you liked them and uhm and then like maybe let’s say like sometimes like it gets so crazy thats you get out of the car and you are crying and then you run and you lay on the side walk and uhm the persons like ‘wtf?’ and then uhm and then you’re really embarrased for days and then you wright a song about it. ” <3

    General Comment:Teagn wasn't really depressed writing this record so she had to drum up some "drama". So she caused some drama... "you know when you think that maybe someone might likes someone else and you like them and you really wish they didn't like anyone else and then sometimes it gets so crazy that you get out of the car and you are crying then you run and you lay on the sidewalk and the persons like WTF" added in another banter was about how "you pull the I'm gonna throw up drama". "And then you are really embarrassed for days ... and then you write a song about it" -Tegan's banter on stage

    My Interpretation:I'm absolutely in love with this song; I think it really captures the raw feelings of want, jealousy, and fear that one can experience in a relationship. You can be so terrified that you're the only one going all in when you're falling in love, and these kinds of thoughts can really plague you. I've been there, and I still worry like this sometimes.
