  My Interpretation:I feel like this song is about what general media can do. In the beginning of the video and the song, she is a sweet little character. towards the end she turns more into an animal after more exposure to the media.

  Memory:this reminds me of my boyfriend and my cousins boyfriend, we flew my cousins boy out from tonga to australia for the first time he got really stuck into music while here.
  anyway my cousin and i went to bed and the boys stayed up drinking and at about 1am my cousin and I woke up to the boys smashed trying to change the cd but it kept getting stuck in on this song and the boys were so pissed they just kept saying "rah rah rah rah rah'over and over again than failing to try change it, ha my cousin text me from the other room and we were just cracking up laughing.

    I don't agree that you need a "perverted mind to see them." This song simply epitomizes a love or lust (or both) relationship between two highly charged individuals. Think of the supposed Scorpio-Sagetarius relationships...very passionate (if you believe in the teachings of astrology, which I don't). The particiapants feed off each other's energy, strength, weaknesses, eccentricities, etc. They have high highs and low lows. They love and they at times hate, for one emotion cannot be without the other, only these two feel everything more than the average Joe. It can be about personalities, and it can be about codependency, but it also can be a combitation of the two, with some funky challenges having to do with past baggage, addiction, hurt, etc. tossed in for good measure. It's one of the few Lady Gaga songs I really enjoy. I have felt this song (so to speak) and I've also danced to it. I love the rawness and honesty of the song, along with the beat (of course). Once you "feel" this song with regard to another, it is near impossible to forget it. It's capitvating and at times all-consuming. And it's rare and, I believe, unexplainable. It just IS.

  General Comment:This song, like many of her other songs, is about the fame. Each song on the Fame Monster is about a personal fear. Bad Romance is fear of fame. The song is essentially about the fame monster. She's comparing fame to an abusive relationship. She's saying that she'll do anything for the fame because she loves it. She accepts the fame for all the ugly. But it also seems sort of like a friends with benefits sort of thing with the fame. She doesn't want to be friends, so it's like no emotional attachment. The fame screws her over and that's okay. Then the video adds to this. It compares fame with prostitution as well. She seems helpless at first, so it's like the fame, or record people are in control. She seems to be their puppet until she kills that guy. So she's saying that she may seem like fame's puppet, but she pretty much has the last laugh.

  General Comment:It seems like the general theme of this song is that Gaga wants "revenge sex". "Your a criminal as long as your mine" gives off the impression that the guy she is having this "bad romance" with is helping her get back at her boyfriend through raunchy sex. The guy she wants seems to be the kind that is into kink, someone she can burn up.

  General Comment:to me its about a bad romance its what she says she wants him and his not hers! the man is having an affair with her and is wanting to revenge his partner with his new love! I see this by many of her comment's but mainly her I want you when your baby is sick'his partners child' his real partner has done the same to him!

  General Comment:I actually don't like Gaga, but I decided to listen to the lyrics and watch the vid for this video to see why the hell people like her, and all I can tell "Bad Romance" about sex and sex traffiking, in which in the video she seems to romanticise it... if you want to know what would be more realistic about prostitution and sex traffiking, watch the movie Taken, then you would see how terrible it is (unless you're a sick bastard who does that crap). Hell, and in these interveiws, she could be straight lying to you fans about what her songs could be about, its not hard to lie on camera.
