If magic is all we've ever know
Then it's easy to miss what really goes on
But I've seen miracles in every way
And I see miracles everyday
Oceans spanning beyond my sight
And a million stars way above em at night
We don't have to be high to look in the sky
And know that's a miracle opened wide
Look at the mountains, trees, the seven seas
And everything chilling underwater, please
Hot lava, snow, rain and fog
Long neck giraffes, and pet cats and dogs
And I've seen eighty-five thousand people
All in one room, together as equals
Pure magic is the birth of my kids
I've seen shit that'll shock your eyelids
The sun and the moon, and even Mars
The Milky Way and fucking shooting stars
UFOs, a river flows
Plant a little seed and nature grows
Niagara falls and the pyramids
Everything you believed in as kids
Fucking rainbows after it rains
There's enough miracles here to blow your brains
I fed a fish to a pelican at (Friscal?) bay
It tried to eat my cell phone, he ran away
And music is magic, pure and clean
You can feel it and hear it but it can't be seen

Music is all magic
(Are you a believer in miracles)
You can't even hold it
(Do you notice and recognize miracles)
It's just there in the air
(Are you a believer in miracles)
Pure motherfucking magic
Right?
This shit'll blow your fucking mind
(Do you notice and recognize miracles)

Music is a lot like love, it's all a feeling
And it fills the room, from the floor to the ceiling
I see miracles all around me
Stop and look around, it's all astounding
Water, fire, air and dirt
Fucking magnets, how do they work?
And I don't wanna talk to a scientist
Y'all motherfuckers lying, and getting me pissed
Solar eclipse, and vicious weather
Fifteen thousand Juggalos together
And I love my mom for giving me this
Time on this planet, taking nothing for granted
I seen a caterpillar turn into a butterfly
Miracles ain't nothing to lie
Shaggy's little boys look just like Shaggy
And my little boy looks just like daddy
Miracles each and every where you look
And nobody has to stay where they put
This world is yours for you to explore
There's nothing but miracles beyond your door
The Dark Carnival is your invitation
To witness that without explanation
Take a look at this fine creation
And enjoy it better with appreciation
Crows, ghosts, the midnight coast
The wonders of the world, mysteries the most
Just open your mind, and it ain't no way
To ignore the miracles of every day

(Are you a believer in miracles)
Magic everywhere in this bitch
(Do you notice and recognize miracles)
It's all around you, you don't even know it
(Are you a believer in miracles)
Shit's crazy
(Do you notice and recognize miracles,
So many miracles, the magic miracles)

Are you a believer in miracles
Do you have time for the miracles
Do you notice and recognize miracles
So many miracles, the magic miracles
Are you a believer in miracles
Do you have time for the miracles
Do you notice and recognize miracles
So many miracles, the magic miracles
Are you a believer in miracles
Do you have time for the miracles
Do you notice and recognize miracles
So many miracles, the magic miracles
Are you a believer in miracles
Do you have time for the miracles
Do you notice and recognize miracles
So many miracles, the magic miracles

General Comment:I know that ICP says they're not really anti-science, and I believe them. It's true that science often takes away from the simple wonder of things when we appreciate them for the miracles they truly are. But science is also what comes out of that sense of wonder, and science is one of the most beautiful miracles of all. The trouble is, this song explicitly opposes science to the beauty of creation, and that's not cool at all. One of the fundamental concepts of postmodernism is based on an essay called "The Death of the Author," and the concept itself might be thought of as the author's death. The gist of it is: once an author's work (be it a book, a poem, a song...) has been made public, its meaning stops belonging to him. That is, its interpretation is no longer owned by the author. That means once ICP released Miracles, what they were thinking or responding to with their song stopped mattering any more than my opinion or your opinion--once Miracles was public, every interpretation of it was just as valid as any other. And when you look at the song straight up--the way a lot of young, impressionable ICP fans are going to look at it, without bothering to check what J and Shaggy said about it--it has a clear message: stuff is beautiful and miraculous, and scientists' explanations of it are bullshit we don't have to listen to. This is a horrible message, a dangerous message, and one I'm sure J and Shaggy would not want to propagate. Again, I understand that people who are really familiar with ICP and Juggalo culture will know not to take it too seriously, but the fact is a lot of people are going to hear "I don't want to hear from no scientist/those motherfuckers lying, and getting me pissed" as a hilarious condemnation of science, coming from their idols, and therefore something to pay attention to. The fact that ICP didn't think about this before releasing Miracles--or, worse, did think about it and just decided to troll the world (which, though truly evil, would be absolutely hilarious)--is part of the reason they get so much hate.

General Comment:Ok I have been quiet long enough I can't help to point some amazing facts here that everyone is missing. I noticed how people just love to hate on this song and this band is pretty sad honestly.
For one if you want to hate at lease be an educated hater and read ICP Behind The Face Paint...download it whatever I do not care but read it if you can finish and still hate them cool.
Second you are probably making about 100,000 a year at max and you are sitting here dissing a band with lyrics that have managed to make 6 million or above a year...now isn’t that ironic since they are High school drop outs...isn't it?

Third if you think just because you didn't finish high school you are not smart then you are just an absolute idiot. Ok just so you know yeah they didn’t finish high school yet they own a record company that makes millions of dollars a year. If you read ICP Behind the Face Paint you will find out these guys never got promoted in the music industry, they had to drive tapes to the record stores and sometimes even just give them away plus they spent literally years and years promoting their music working their asses off. It is amazing to think that all those "Wonderful Singers" like Justin Bieber, Eminem, Britney Spears, they all got promoted ICP had to do it all alone, they even have to start their own record company to get it out.
Fourth so let's review the facts for the haters ICP had to work their asses of, they created their own extremely successful company, not only did they create a company they created a loyal fan base, they also gave hope to all the people that couldn't meet your pathetic standards. Now I have not even mentioned the fact that if you Haters took half the hits they took trying to make it with their music you wimps would have quit after the first month. So haters can hate but you know what I bet you never will work in your entire life as hard as they did for their dream and that makes them ten times more valuable than any hater out there.
Fifth the song is meant to be about how beautiful miracles are seriously have you ever just taken time like the song says to stare up at the stars on a clear night? I mean even magnets are a miracle science can explain it but seriously science is just giving words to that which it really does not understand (miracles) because when you break all things down reactions eventually get too small to measure. In the end science can give a general explanation such as a molecule etc, but eventually matter gets too small to see.
PS I am a Juggalo about to attend my last class for and AA which I will be transferring to a four year college so yell all you want but I am not uneducated cause I am sure a hater will call me that. Yes I will admit there is probably tons of spelling errors or grammar errors in this so have fun tearing this post up and down Juggalo’s feed of hate anyhow…oh and one other thing MCL TO THE FAMILY.

General Comment:Son of a bitch, you guys are morons. I don't even like ICP (apart from two songs), and the execution of the lyrics is TERRIBLE. That said, the meaning they are trying to convey is perfectly reasonable. They obviously don't mean miracle by the typical definition of "something that can't be explained." They're just referring to the magic of life in general - regardless of its definition. And, indeed, life is magical. Certainly all these things can be explained, but that doesn't change the fact that their very existence brings a magic to the world that only butthurt logicfags would try to revoke.

But man, did they really have to include those lines, "And I don't wanna talk to a scientist / Y'all motherfuckers lyin' and gettin' me pissed." It's like they are intentionally just trying to troll people with that one.

General Comment:Wow, the fact that you seem to interpret songs literally and took the time (especially when you must be so busy burning religious scripture) to write this has actually brought my faith in humanity to a new low.
I'm sure you're a real hoot at parties.

    General Comment:"Frisco Bay"

    As in San Francisco...

I like this song because it's hardly ever referenced without "linking" or extended reference to the video clip. It really highlights the continued importance of the "promotional" music videos in this decade. Some critics seem to think music videos will die off. But with Youtube, and other online video sharing sites, broadcasting over the old media of television has become almost inconsequential. That hasn't stopped music videos being just as relevant and handy as ever in illustrating the brilliance or banality of an artist's concept(s).

'Miracles' are known as unxplained phenomena, in this song ICP are (purportedly) rejecting the explanations of scientists (and by extension other known-peoples on each topic ranging from man made structures - such as pyramids and organisms and animals - such as giraffes) in favour of "magic". This scepticism is ludicrous to most educated peoples, and indeed it is difficult to tell whether ICP are taking the piss with tongues firmly in their cheeks, or through the fan base and (the *effort* they have put into their) image they have cultivated over the years that they are actually upholding the lyrics as their personal beliefs. Beliefs that science and the knowledge built up over generations are all superficial props we human's use to explain what we cannot explain (Hence 'miracles' existing everywhere.)

We will probably never know whether this song is a piss take or a genuine expression of the artist's personal beliefs.

My Opinion:to all you fuckers out that hatin on ICP, you don't have to watch the videos or listen to the songs or even look at the lyrics. Just go on with your lives and cherish what you have while you still have it. no need to waste your time trolling the web

General Comment:I may not enjoy most of ICP's stuff, but I must admit that I thoroughly enjoy this song. I just like the way it sounds. I don't associate with the haters, or the guys who are against. It makes sense why they'd call a lot of this stuff Miracles. Sure, they have some stupid lines, but every bands gunna have songs with stupid parts. It's just natural.

It's depressing though. Why do we have white knights crusading against the music they hate. We got the people defending their own likes against people that don't agree. How about we just drop the swords & torches and just go back to the stuff we like? The Juggalo's n whatnot can listen to this stuff if they enjoy it, you rap/pop/rock/metal/whateverelse fans can go to your stuff.

General Comment:this song only effects closed minded people that copy and paste shit off of wikipedia. and just about all of those closed minded cum bubbles are trying way too hard to understand the meaning, so they only have one option, HATE. of coarse animals change with evolution, but you don't make that happen. rainbows form after it rains how? the sun reflects off moisture in the air, BUT you cant make it happen neither. everything on planet earth are God's creations including your dumb ass. the bottom line is everything God does that you, or ANY human can't do... IS A MIRACLE!!!! "its all we've ever known, so its easy to miss what really goes on." maybe this website needs to highlight the important parts on all songs so dumbshits can understand it better. later haters. ;-)
