Hayley wrote the meanings for all the songs in the Brand New Eyes lyric/journal book.
It's not about Chad people, it is really about Josh, they have been too complicated with each other, actually, Hayley wrote this song when she and Josh gave it up to be together and find their selves in separate ways.. like Hayley&Chad, then Josh got married to Jenna... it's really about Josh people.

it explains a lot... Hayley is aware of the Farro brothers are leaving the band right after BNE.

I know that feeling; falling asleep only to wake up and once again start the day with saying how much in love you still are.
