Sure, he could just like working under the cover of darkness. But the odds that he promised to kill her before light arrives in DSAW, then somehow lets her get away only to recapture her and once again reference her demise before dawn in Juliet seem somewhat slim to me. He’s psychotic, not stupid.

This is a reference to her soul not being completely destroyed as his has been. He thought her death would bring her pain, regret, misery, but it actually pleases her. She is happy to die which is not something he had foreseen. It shocks him. It paralyzes him. His soul is withered and dark, where hers is alive and vibrant.
Also, if I am correct and these songs take place in the same night, it seems as if he’s been torturing her for an entire night.(There are references to torture in both songs) Then her torture session is followed by a poisoning which seems to confuse some people. They both drink the poison and they both die. She smiles afterward because her hellish night is finally over. She feels no more pain and knows she is now forever out of his reach. This enrages him because he wanted her to mourn the end of her life as he has. He never wanted to die but she in essence has killed him, so she is the one closing his eyes as life escapes him.
All in all, it’s a very messed up saga which culminates in the torture and poisoning of his “Juliet.” Just in case the physical abuse he put her through doesn’t do the trick he guarantees it with poison and they both die together. That’s how I see it anyway.
I think this is the continuation of the Caleb saga but told as a story of Romeo and Juliet. This song could even represent Romeo and Juliet by itself form a distorted viewpoint, but what I think is that Caleb himself and unnamed women (I don't believe her name is actually Juliet) as Juliet and tells the story as if they actually were Romeo and Juliet, thus why the stories are so similar. I'm not going to interpret all the lines, but I'll do what I feel is important.

He can't love her anymore (I mean loving her caused him or at least helped cause him to go completely insane) but he also can't live without her so he is going to kill himself.

He wanted them to both die together, just like Romeo and Juliet (although in the original story Romeo didn't actually kill Juliet). And I guess his poison worked on him but didn't go quite right with her.

Again, he seems to be describing how death will be better than life was. The last two lines seem to be him calling her selfish- she doesn't care how much pain she caused him but now she's scared because of the pain he's causing her (i.e. kidnapping her and attempting to kill her).

She was controlling what he perceived as a game between them (idiom holding all the cards) and pulling his strings but she has now lost and they are both going to die (and she will no longer be able to control him and the game when he is no longer alive to play).

Not too sure about this part (and the part after this). I think maybe things will be more clear in death (the darkness); for the second part, he saw her as being lost in vanity and not noticing how much he wanted to be with her.

She was tricking him and clouding his life with mirrors and smoke but now he has forced things to make sense and he is forcing her to need him- her current reality which is what he had always wanted (hoped for), although since it never happened, he is now forcing it.

He is going to die and she double crossed him because she isn't dying with him like he planned.

He things he is with someone in the dark (i.e. in his death) but he's afraid that, like before, he is all alone (the other person could just be his reflection). The change of heart could be referring again to her 'deciding' not to die, which has hurt him, or, possibly, it could refer to how she stopped loving him before and now they both 'have' to die.

This part is confusing. By emptied the room he could be referring to her emptying her life of him; the new life that came after that he paid for with his sanity. He made a mess/mistake by letting her go and live without him and now he is trying to fix that.

I think he is saying either that is too late for him to regret killing them or that it is too late for her to regret (apologize for) abandoning him. What has come to light, it is possible that he finally realized she doesn't love him and that she's been 'playing him for a fool.' The story rewriting itself I think refers to how, in his eyes, their lives are like Romeo and Juliet being rewritten.
The rest is pretty much just restatements of what's already been said.
First was Caleb, his life as a child
Then Juliet, He thought both were in love and he wanted to die together, but she found out that he was crazy and planned to let him die alone, but obviously he survived.
The end of this chapter, it starts with the phone call where he says "you almost got away from me didn't you?" because what happened in Juliet, He is pissed and want to kill her.
Don't say a word would be the end, where he gets her and he is gonna kill her.
That's my opinion =p
Could it be that she played on those feelings he had for her, tricking him into letting her go, saying that she still loves him etc., and then, when his guard was down, took his life?
The song would then start right after she inflicted the fatal wound, with her being the last thing he sees before he dies, smiling cuz the hell he put her through is finally over, and the rest of the song would be his life flashing before his eyes as life fades away form him?
that could explain the "no more can I love you" (she gave him the fatal wound, ffs :D) the "not what I singed for" (as in, getting himself killed was not what he had in mind when he let her go), his disappointment (the "whore" part :D), even "we're all getting hurt" (he is getting hurt physicaly, she mentaly, cuz for some1 normal it's not easy to take a mans life)..

That's... Really, a brilliant thought. I hadn't remembered that line (Although, I should have; I listen to the song enough). Good job on putting in the missing piece to this puzzle. Now I wonder if that was what Tony was thinking when he wrote it. xD
So, again, Caleb wouldn't have allowed her to live, three times, while managing to get himself killed in the process. Especially by his own hand.
