    General Comment:I understand the theories about drugs and mind control but I think you could also interpret this as the cries of anguish from someone trapped in a relationship where the partner begins to contol their mind, the bully/ victim type of relationship....."how much deception can you take"..etc etc.....this in turn with lead to the victim creating lies to everyone looking in that they are OK and happy etc.....In the end the victim can take it no more

    General Comment:It's totally about Project MK Ultra , but as usual, you can read it on different levels if you want.....

    When I've read on wiki what this CIA atrocity was I was "holy shit Bellamy is one crazy genius" ! Cause what impresses me the most with this track is HOW the SOUND and I mean every single bit of it fits TOTALLY with the mental state those poor people were while the CIA was playing with their minds and brains.

    It's totally like it, a slow fall to darkness and insanity....

    My Interpretation:fucking love this song. i believe its about many peoples willingness to just give in to the power of others and how even though people will say that they resist things that they never really do anything and that theyre still under the control of the government or whoevers in control and all of the lies that they tell to keep everyone under control
