She fell on a summer's day
Her mother said she'd be OK
Tried so hard to run away
Where could she go
Never did as she was told
She tried to cry - she was too old
Had to let her life unfold
How could she know
Who she was
Who she ought to be
Her life was just a picture in a frame
She couldn't change the story
Couldn't tear the pages, burn the book
To be a mother she must stay to be a wife
She couldn't let her own life interfere
Don't come near
Lady Anne, Lady Anne
He's falling for you
Lady Anne, Lady Anne
You'll fall for him too
Lady Anne, Lady Anne, Lady Anne
When she left her home she said
"Don't bother making up my bed
Find a dog to pet instead
I'll not return"
Had to leave her love behind
Surely he thought she was unkind
Little did he know her mind
When would he learn
Why she did
What she had to do
To wise to give away all that she had
And ask for nothing so she got her crown
But still it's not enough
She had to think of what becomes a child
Who has nobody else to fight
For what she knows is her right
Lady Anne, Lady Anne
He's falling for you
Lady Anne, Lady Anne
You'll fall for him too
Lady Anne, Lady Anne, Lady Anne
Little girls grow up too fast
Trying to make the morning last
End up living in the past
When we were young
Never knew how long she'd get
Tried to survive without regret
Died before her Time and yet
Her song is sung everyday
In another way
She lives in each of us who know tomorrow
Will go on without us
So it's best to live it while we can
And even queens can fall in love when they should hold on
To their heart and never let it go
Don't you know
Lady Anne, Lady Anne
He's falling for you
Lady Anne, Lady Anne
You know what he'll do
Just a girl
Never had a choice
Her life was just a picture in a frame
She couldn't change the story
Couldn't tear the pages, burn the book
For all her strength she couldn't hold on to the dream
When happy ever after never is
Come on Liz
Lady Anne, Lady Anne
He's falling for you
Lady Anne, Lady Anne
You'll fall for him too
Lady Anne, Lady Anne, Lady Anne
She fell on a summer's day

I have a feeling i'd really love it.
Couldn't tear the pages, burn the book"
It was said that Anne was more intelligent then her sister Mary; but Mary was more beautiful.
"Little girls grow up too fast" "Just a girl Never had a choice" "Had to leave her love behind"
"To be a mother she must stay to be a wife
She couldn't let her own life interfere
Don't come near"
When I watched The Other Boleyn Girl i found it totally depressing because i felt Anne Boleyn ( and her sister) had little say in their own lives ( and bodies). Early in 1523 there was a secret betrothal between Anne and Henry Percy, son of the 5th Earl of Northumberland. However, in January of 1524 Cardinal Thomas Wolsey broke the betrothal, Anne was sent back home to Hever Castle, and Percy was married to Lady Mary Talbot, to whom he had been betrothed since adolescence.
"ask for nothing so she got her crown" "even queens can fall in love when they should hold on
To their heart and never let it go Don't you know"
Anne was the Queen of England from 1533 to 1536
"Died before her Time and yet Her song is sung everyday"
She was beheaded. however, over the centuries, she has inspired or been mentioned in numerous artistic and cultural works. As a result, she has retained her hold on the popular imagination. Anne has been called "the most influential and important queen consort England has ever had", since she provided the occasion for Henry VIII to divorce Catherine of Aragon, and declare his independence from Rome.Anne was venerated as a martyr and heroine of the English Reformation.
"Lady Anne, Lady Anne
He's falling for you
Lady Anne, Lady Anne
You'll fall for him too
Lady Anne, Lady Anne, Lady Anne"
seems like a warning.
