The secret's out. Our lips are wide as oceans
I sold my eyes for emerald dimes.
The edges blur, the walls are bending.
You bite like you don't have any teeth to break my skin.
I feel like she's on fire.
And every room is another world I'm walking in
We couldn't get much higher
I tripped and fell so deep I can't come down.
How did you run into a door that's wide open? Get ahold of yourself.
I tripped and fell so deep I can't come down.
Our hands are melting maps. Balancing on a fence the change made no sense.
The edges stir, the walls are dancing...
I steal everything just to give it back again. Trust me i'm a liar.
And all the words I bought, they aren't worth anything.
We couldn't get much higher.
I tripped and fell so deep I can't come down...
Brace yourself. There's no way out. We left our minds behind.
Climbing the blinds, fabricating time, 'till we come back to life.
I tripped and fell so deep I can't come down.

I tripped and fell so deep I can't come down...
Brace yourself. There's no way out. We left our minds behind.
Climbing the blinds, fabricating time, 'till we come back to life.
I tripped and fell so deep I can't come down.

I take that, the "door that's wide-open" he ran into, could be a naive girl. Possibly too young, that would make it a secret in any case, as "balancing on a fence - the charge made no sense" indicates some sort of grey-area crime...
Though the drug reference seems clear, it may be understood to mean generic elation of 'tripping' - what he experienced, when he persuaded her to join him in bed.
even though its not really emerald.
or trippin over somehting
and what hes saying is all what hes experienceing and thinking and feeling while on that "trip"
here it's what I've got :
Alright ..., are you ready?
Ya
"Please forgive me
I don't want to hurt anymore,
My heart is breaking (breaking ...)
Can I take you home?
Open yourself up to me and surrender.
Can I take you home?
Please forgive me
We lock out the world and we'll stay here forever."
There's some stuff missing ! Do you know what he is singing ?
on the CD they made it so where the end part of that sounds like the beginning of the next song, which was "can i take you home?" and it would flow together
and it was like a special bonus thing to the end of this song too:)
"Please forgive me
I don't want to hurt anymore,
My heart is breaking
Can I take you home?
(Breaking apart)
Open yourself up to me and surrender.
Can I take you home?
(Please forgive me)
We'll lock out the world and we'll stay here forever"
Hope I was of help ^_^
I copied it exactly.
