  General Comment:interesting that i haven't seen anyone bring this up before, but its probably the most important part, and most confusing part, of the song.
  
  does he say "Girl, if you're wondering, if i want you to..." OR "Girl, if you're wondering, if i want you too..."
  
  just that one small difference changes the meaning entirely. the first one is like, "i want you to (do something)" and the second is "i want you too (i want you also/as well)." Do we know for sure that its "to" and not "too"?

    well, seeing as Weezer titled the song "I want you to" and not "I want you, too."
    
    thats not saying, that later in the song they don't change it (like at the proposal part, or the end part), but at least the first time they definitely say "I want you to."

  I love this song! Weezer makes the best songs! I think this song is about a guy who falls in love with a girl and instead of the stereotypical "guy chases girl" he wants HER to make the move.
